I got to my apartment, it was a self-contain with few furniture's and kitchen utensils.

After saying a silent prayer i refreshed my mail box ,i had one reply to my mail.
"This is my maga"i said to myself

Ik was more than a friend to me, we have known eachother from our secondary school days ,our classmates called us twin cause we did lots of nasty things together.
Ik showed me his guts several times but the one that really got to me was during our SSCE exam period, we planned to jump the school fence at nigh to eat outside and probably play video games.
We were about ten guys including Ik ,we successfully got out without being noticed, we wore mofty to avoid being easily noticed by teachers who lived in the teachers lodge.
After eating we got to the gameHall and played till it was midnight without noticing till our cash had finished.
We had to go back to school, so to avoid been caught together we divided to 5groups, i and Ik were in the same group ,then we all followed different routes back to the school.
While we walked back to school,we got spotted by some police on patrol.
"Hey,both of you stop"!! One of them shouted
I was so scared but Ik wasnt ,he tried to run but i held him.we walked slowly to them .....
"What are the both of you doing outside"the police man asked
His face was so dark and scary,he was tall with a gun in his right hand and a batten in his left hand.he has scars all over him ,his kept a mean face which scared us more...

The police man fell for it and gave us some money for drugs,we walked slowly away till we got far .
We laughed and praised each other till we got to the school fence and successfully got inside.
I went to get my cloth which i washed earlier while Ik went into the hostel.
I walked into the hostel and noticed it was quiet and it was unusual, slowly i walked to to my bunk then i heard our petron shout
"Where are you coming from"
"Sir,i went to pick my uniform"
I looked around and saw Ik kneeling down and i got scared.
"Are you sure"
"Yes ,sir"
"Now go and sleep"
While i walked slowly to my bed,i heard him threaten to flog Ik till the next day except he tells him who accompanied him to jump the school fence.
"Sir,believe me,i went out alone"
"Shut up,i saw you jump back in ,and you weren't alone"
He landed a slap on iks face and dragged him outside.
I looked outside trough the window and saw ik being flogged all over his body while he lied on the dirty gutter i couldn't bear it anymore i had to stop this .Students gathered around watching while i walked up to the petron.
"Sir please, i am the one" i said
"Dont listen to him ,i went alone"ik said with blood and cain mark all over his body
