u should be d one crying

Ngilari is a boy to Tukur and the presidency who was initially
used against the impeached Gov but being that once a
governor is impeach, both the governor and deputy moves but
Ngilari resigned and escaped the impeachment and have to
use court process to take over power. I guess the whole
scenario was well played by them because National PDP
initially wanted Ngilari. The next thing now is to stop the
election, Fintiri will go back as Speaker and the whole issue
will be normalised. PDP.........

well we all know that impeachment of the governor was wrong, because they do not want deputy there they forced him to resigned after knowing that process was illegal, I think this peoplejust wants power by all costs no matter how it comes. every body will create their history themselves, and one day you'll have something to flash back good/bad, but posterity will judge.

This newly installed governor hasn't been in good terms with Nyako even when he was in office. The killer party is still in control of that state.

Are you sure about that? Nyako played a key role in the case that enabled the deputy to win as someone stated earlier.

fkaz:
Are you aware that former governor of adamawa state Murtalla Nyanko represented by his lawyer was the primary witness in the case, that made it possible to win the case

Governor Nyanko is coming back before 2015 election, this is round one!

So, which party is now to take over? Is the former deputy governor a pdp or apc man? What a country.
the Deputy Gov is PDP. Therefore it is a victory for PDP who never wanted FIntiri in the 1st place to be the gov. Perhap, now is time for Ribadu to step up. GEJ still baffling them into cluelessness!

This nonsense is happening because of the desperation of President Badluck in dealing with Nyako. I hope the court nullifies his impeachment too asap.

So you expect the court to nullify the impeachment of a corrupt governor I can't see that happening.

I won't be surprised if PDP is involved in this court judgement. Those dudes are political juggernauts and you never can tell what they "ll come up with next.

Second coming! Murtala Nyako says he’ll be back as Adamawa governor

Former Adamawa Governor, Admiral Murtala Nyako (rtd) says he’s confident of returning to his post because the lawmakers did not follow due process before his sacking.
Nyako has filed an appeal at the Appeal Court against his impeachment, saying that he has valid reasons to prove that he was unfairly evicted from his office by his opponents, who breached all the rules all in their desperate bid to get him out.
Nyako released a statement on Sunday, 24 August, through by his media adviser, Mr. Sajoh Ahmed, expressing his belief in returning to office since the process leading to his forceful and undemocratic sack was illegal.
He said he believes in the Nigerian judiciary, which has within its ranks men of integrity and honour. He says he’s sure they would not find it difficult to restore him to his position given the obvious evidence that his opponents violated all the provisions of the law in impeaching him out for political reasons.
He stated that his case will follow the precedence set by that of former governors who were removed only to return, citing governors Joshua Dariye of Plateau, Rashidi Ladoja of Oyo and Peter Obi of Anambra, as examples.

Nigeria judiciary and technicalities ...makes you wonder if spotting technicalities is now part of the legal studies in Nigeria. Its either a lawyer errs when filing a case on technicality or the opposition lawyer spots some in the judgement undecided

The judgement is a saving grace to PDP because had the election being allowed to hold PDP would have faced a crushing and humiliating defeat. The PDP after conducting opinion surveys and the mammoth crowds that welcomed the APC candidate wherever he went for campaign realized that the people of Adamawa state are really angry with PDP and are ready to vote massively for APC.

that adamawa speaker is a big dunce. how can a deputy governor address a resignation letter to you while the sitting governor was there and you accept.

If this were in some other countries investigation would have started as to who wrote the said letter of resignation of the Deputy Governor.

They have done their calculations well. They are doubting the victory of fintiri and doesn want the seat to b given to Apc even by mistake, that y the sudden judgement was pass..i pray is for betterment of the citizen
