PDP To Summon Minister Over Poor State Of Federal Roads by Ayekotoo(m): 8:35pm On Oct 13, 2014
Piqued by the deplorable state of federal roads in the South East geopolitical zone, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, said it would summon the Minister of Works, Chief Mike Onolememe to “revisit all federal roads in the zone.”
The national Publicity Secretary of PDP and the
leader of the party’s Publicity and Evaluation
Committee, Chief Olisa Metu, dropped the hint
while fielding questions from journalists
yesterday in Umuahia, Abia State, after the
committee’s facility tour of some project sites
in the state.
Metu expressed dismay over the poor condition
of federal roads in Aba in particular as well as
other parts of the South East, and assured that
the party would mandate the Works’ Minister to
undertake a tour of all federal roads in the
zone for first hand information on their
condition with a view to fixing them.
He noted that although some of the federal
roads in the state were being rehabilitated,
much needed to be done to make them
passable and give the people more sense of
belonging.
Metu restated the commitment of the Goodluck
Jonathan-led administration to improve on the
welfare of the people of the zone and assured
that very soon the woes of commuters and
motorists in the zone would be a thing of the
past.
He also applauded the efforts of Governor
Theodore Orji who he said had raised he bar of
governance through identifiable legacy projects
which have direct bearing on the people.

Olisa Metuh just got the memo about the bad FG roads in the SE abi, obviously PDP agents are here on Nairaland and it's all for next year's election. We aren't deceived in the SE any longer and pix of FG bad roads are all over the social media. Come Xmas, more pix and the ineptitude of GEJ would be fully displayed.

This country never seizes to amaze me! Has Nigerian federal roads ever been good under the PDP? This country deserves one politician one bullet. These guys have converted the nations wealth to their private bank account. President Jonathan, please I beg you, it is time to leave, you have really destroyed Nigeria. Nigeria has become a shadow of itself.

Meanwhile, with the incessant corruption, Femi Fani-Kayode can now afford a bottle of Moet after cashing in from PDP in his now infamous defection. I guess he wants nairalanders to have a taste of it.

Screw Onolememe or whatever his stinking name is!

I'm ashamed to be associated by citizenship with many of you sentimental tribalists who place religion and tribe over development, eradication of corruption, and growth of the nation.

With just few days into the general election, is now they want to summon the innocent minister who has been performing excellently well in other regions. I wonder when my eastern brothers and sisters will stop their leaders from playing with their head during electioneering period, why didn't they summon the minister since 2011 to 2013 why now? Your leaders have sold your right for a pot of porridge. The most painful part is that instead of them to hold their leaders accountable and demand for good leadership and the good dividend of democracy, they will be pokenosing into other regions affairs who are already doing well while their own region rot to the dustbin.

But all I no is that come 2015 Buhari will be the next Nigeria president because For God so loved Nigeria that he spared the life of Gen. Buhari till 2015, so that who so ever desires progress and Votes for him may not regret but experience the true meaning of leadership where security, food, employment, zero corruption, transparency and infrastructural development prevails.
The number one problem facing Nigeria today is corruption! Fix corruption, and you fix Nigeria. Jonathan has only encouraged and promoted corruption. The ONLY person that is fearless and would ruthlessly cleans this country is General Mohammadu Buhari... Those who hate him have no idea why they do...he remains the most incorruptible ... Fearless... Patriotic and principled leadership figure remaining in Nigeria today. Nigeria may not be able to have the likes of Buhari in another 50years time.
Is only a fool that will continue to do things the same way and expect a different result, So Let's Make The Right Choice.

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless Niger-Delta
Sai Buhari

All summons are usually just senseless in Nigeria.
You know the summons (toothless barking) will yield no result yet you just want to make news.
Why don't they focus first on the yet unsolved, "unjialed" numerous corrupt politicians still roaming the street.

All words no action.
All committees no results.
Numerous figure heads no visible development.

Most of our politicians are educated dwarfs.
They are recycled, backward, senseless, greedy, pot bellied, gold chain obsessed, perverted old men without ideas, creativity and intellect.
They only know cultism, thuggery and stealing.
