Re: The Domainkingng Thread by charlsecy: 4:50pm On Nov 30, 2014
I want to ask a question;
If, for example, I bought a domain name from registrar X, could I do the renewal of the domain name one year after with another registrar Y?
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 7:50pm On Nov 30, 2014
Yes, its possible to renew the domain with another registrar by transferring the domain to them.
Domain transfer from one registrar to another registrar often includes free renewal.
Do let us know if have any further queries.

Transactions have kept failing. I wanted 2 domain names, but payment processing failed. One had N499, the other N999. I thought each of them should have been N499 because I went through http://www.domainking.ng/com-domain-offer/?
How do I remove a domain from your database, so I could re-register with the N499 coupon?
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 4:41am On Dec 01, 2014
Please note that the N499 .COM offer is only valid for 1st domain in your account. All the subsequent domains will be charged at N999 (you can register as many domains you want at N999 during the term of this offer).
Kindly read the note at the bottom of the offer page: http://www.domainking.ng/com-domain-offer/
Regarding payments issue, we accept Voguepay, Cash Envoy on our website for local payments in Nigeria. You can easily pay via Verve/Interswitch, other debit cards issued by Nigerian Banks through Voguepay or Cash Envoy. Since these are local payment gateways, they only accept cards that have been activated by Bank for online purchases. You need to get your card activated by your bank by generating a PIN that can be used for online transactions.
Please read this: http://www.ogbongeblog.com/2014/04/how-to-activate-verve-cards-for-online.html
You can also pay via bank deposit or transfer, for this you need to register for a Personal account with Voguepay. And then you can Load funds to your Voguepay wallet by Bank Deposit or Transfer. After your Voguepay account is funded you can use these funds for purchases at our website by selecting Voguepay as a payment option during checkout.
In case you want to remove any domain from your account, you can raise a support ticket in our support center at: http://www.domainking.ng/login/
Do let us know if you have any further queries.

It's a UBA-issued MasterCard.
I have been using the card for online transactions at Amazon, AliExpress, Google Play, and other international online resource[s]. I also use the card to pay for mobile recharge PINs at QuickTeller.
I guess something was wrong at the time I attempted payment. Anyway, I will keep trying.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 11:49am On Dec 01, 2014
All these sites you have mentioned are global merchants and they use international payment processors. We are also considering using an international payment gateway at our Nigerian website: DomainKing.NG. But right now we only have local gateways like Voguepay, Cash Envoy on our website which only accept MasterCards that are enabled for MasterCard Secure Code (PIN).
You could also directly get in touch with Voguepay (email@example.com) or CashEnvoy regarding the issues you are facing while paying with your card.
You can also place an order at our international website: http://www.domainking.biz/, here we accept all the International cards, Paypal.

If I register for .com now how long will I use it before I will renew it?
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by charlsecy4(m): 12:32am On Dec 03, 2014
I am constantly being logged out on your site. For example, I wanted to submit a ticket; after filling the form and clicking "submit," I am logged out.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 6:28am On Dec 03, 2014
Please also check whether your IP changes during the session and when you are logged out, you can check your IP from mxtoolbox.com (they show the IP at the bottom of their page.) Make sure your IP remains static during the duration of your login session. If the IP keeps changing, it could be an issue with your internet connection/ISP.
Kindly let us know by sending us an email at support[at]domainking.ng if you are still facing the above issue after upgrading your browser. Please also let us know if your IP keeps changing by checking it on mxtoolbox as we explained earlier.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 6:31am On Dec 03, 2014
The domain is registered for 1 year, which is the minimum term for domain registration. After that you will be charged for renewal.

Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 10:56am On Dec 04, 2014
Yes, You can create 2 free email accounts like: email@example.com with 100 MB space each with every domain to send and receive emails.
Also you can setup email forwarding if you want.

I registered with .ng but the paypal platform seems to be missing....I want to pay via paypal, what do I do?
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 10:37am On Dec 07, 2014
We are currently not accepting Paypal on DomainKing.NG. But you can also place order on our global website http://www.domainking.biz/ if you want to use Paypal to pay us.
We are currently accepting Voguepay & Cash Envoy to collect payments from Nigeria. It makes easier for local clients in Nigeria to pay using local Debit Cards, Banks using these gateways.
We have been considering adding international gateways like Paypal on DomainKing.NG but due to their high transaction fees it would make services expensive for our clients. We are already taking loss of $6-$7 on each domain at our end during our .com and other domain promos, adding international gateway would add fees of $1 to $2 per transaction. So we have left out this option for time being.
There is an easier option to make payments, you can create a personal account with Voguepay or CashEnvoy and then you can fund your Voguepay or Cash Envoy Wallet/account using Bank Deposit or Bank transfer option. Then you can use these funds to pay at our website by selecting Voguepay or Cash Envoy Wallet as payment option at the checkout.
You can also try using other available payment methods listed here: http://www.domainking.ng/payment-methods/

I wanted to change the name servers of my domain to name servers of the hosting services I bought with Namecheap.
When I tried entering the name servers (dns1.namecheaphosting.com) I keep getting errors that it must start with ns1 and not dns1.
Please help me out. The domain is heartlinkz.com
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 9:54pm On Dec 11, 2014
Sorry for the delay in replying back to you.
Your domain is already registered & active since yesterday. We can see you haven't configured your domain with any hosting package or with services like blogger.com etc. hence your domain might not be working when you type it directly on the browser's address bar.
Please raise a support ticket in your account at: http://www.domainking.ng/login/, and let us know what exactly you want to do with your domain, we will guide you through the process to do that.
Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 10:20pm On Dec 11, 2014
Your order has already been activated.
It seems due to some temporary issue with the Payment Gateway, the payment was not reflected automatically. Hence we did it manually for you.
Kindly check your email for the details on managing your domain.
Feel free to contact us if you have any queries.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 10:32pm On Dec 11, 2014
The nameservers can start with any name as long as they are in proper format, it won't cause any issue.
Please raise a support ticket in your account at: http://www.domainking.ng/login/ with the nameservers you tried to enter, we will check the issue from our end.
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by charlsecy: 12:01am On Dec 12, 2014
domainking:I still have the issue. I updated my Firefox, yet the problem has persisted.
I visited http://mxtoolbox.com/WhatIsMyIP/
It showed 22.214.171.124; upon refresh showed 126.96.36.199.
Google showed my IP as:
188.8.131.52 and then 184.108.40.206.
Same problem on Chrome, although I am not sure if it'' s up-to-date.
But I log into other sites freely....
NOW I FEEL FRUSTRATED!
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by charlsecy: 3:50pm On Dec 12, 2014
I have been able to pay for the domain using Opera browser. Firefox and Chrome failed me.
I noticed that my domain life started on the date I added it to my account. I had thought it should have been from the day I paid for it.
But when I went through Manage DNS Records > Continue to DNS Panel, I got the error message:
Connection refused: manage.domainking.ng:80
Re: The Domainkingng Thread by domainking: 5:42pm On Dec 12, 2014
Due to some temporary issue at Voguepay, the payment confirmation was not returned to our server.
Hence, your domain was not registered automatically, it caused an error on your end.
We have activated your order manually.
You can now manage your domain, edit nameservers, create free emails id, email forwards from Email Management Feature, Add/edit DNS records using DNS Management tool inside Clientarea:
Login Url: http://www.domainking.ng/login/
Regarding domain expiry date, it is automatically updated in our system once the domain is registered. Since your domain was unregistered when you checked, you were seeing the old date.
Feel free to get back to us, if you have any further queries.

We would be in better position to understand your issue, if we can see it personally. Can you install Teamviewer on your system and someone from our technical team will have a look at this issue you explained.
