Read this thing very carefully and follow it step by
step.
First of all, make sure that you have paid your
acceptance fee and update your profile without
leaving anyone blank before you apply for any
payment.
1. Go to UNN portal (www.unnportal.com ), by the
right..click on undergraduate portal to open a page
where you can log into UNN student portal using
your Jamb registration number (for freshers) and
your school registration number (for old students).
On that page, you will see:
- New student login for freshers by the left.
- Returning students login for old students by the
right.
Login with with your registration number into the
one that applies to you and use "unn" as the
password. Another page will open that contains
Your name, department, faculty, email address and
current level. If you have not fully completed your
profile, click on "Academics" on top of the page to
do that before you proceed, if you have done so,
proceed to No. 2 below.
2. Click on payment to show you the following:
- My Fees
- Payments History
- My Receipts
- Payment Merge
Click on "My Fees" to show you:
* Select Session
* Select Level
Select the appropriate ones such as 2014/2015
and 100 for freshers; old students should select
their current level and click on "submit". This will
open a page that contains:
A. Generate and print your payment invoice.
B. Pay school fee.
C. Pay hostel application fee.
Click on No. A to see a page where to select the
service to pay for which is either acceptance fee,
school fee or hostel fee. Select school fee first and
creat the invoice to see how much you are paying
as your school fee. Print it out and take the invoice
to the bank and make your payment. Take the
confirmation order the bank will give you and
invoice to the portal and follow instruction No. 2B
(Pay school fee). Fill in the boxes and submit and
print it out. You have paid your school fee.
3. Now you are qualified to apply for hostel.
Before you pay for hostel application, make sure
you first apply for bed space under "Academics".
Follow same procedure but when you get to No. 2,
instead of clicking on "Payments" at the top of the
page, click on "Academics" to show you a page
where you can:
A. Apply for a bed space.
B. Pay for hostel application.
C. Print allocation slip.
After applying for bed space, proceed to generating
and printing of your payment invoice under No. 2A.
After paying for the hostel application in the bank,
take the confirmation order and your invoice
number to "Payments" and pay for the hostel
application under No. 3B. After paying for the
hostel, print your allocation slip under No. 3C to
see the hostel you are allocated to. Take the slip to
students' affairs department to pay N1000 and
collect your file. Take the to the hostel you have
been allocated and meet the poter for hostel levy
and collect your foam and key. Go to your room
and decorate your room as you wish.
NOTE: You pay school fee under "Payments" while
you pay for hostel under "Academics"
