Ceasefire: Boko Haram Bombard Bauchi Bus Station, Scores Dead by kosovo(m): 9:28am On Oct 23, 2014
There have been bombardments of a popular bus station in Bauchi, suspected to be carried out by the Islamic terror group Boko Haram. Death toll has risen to five and scores injured.

The recent attack makes mockery of the alleged ceasefire agreement between the federal government and members of the terror sect, Boko Haram.

A resident of the town, who gave his name as Musa Babale, said: “We had a huge blast at exactly 9:45 pm (2045 GMT). We realised it had come from the bus station. The whole place was a mess,” he said.

However, several calls made to the spokesman of the police and military for comments were not answered but Mauzu Ibrahim, another resident of the attacked area near the Kano road revealed that security operatives have cordoned off the scene.

“We found the place cordoned off by soldiers and police. From where I stood I saw bodies being put in a van,” Ibrahim said.

Other witnesses also reported seeing casualties but it was not immediately possible to estimate the number and emergency workers were not available to comment on the incident.

However, the cause of the blast remains unknown as at press time though the state has remained one of the worse hit areas by the blood thirsty terrorists group, Boko Haram.

What is really happening? We have a situation where ceasefire was called and still these people are murdering people left and right?

Was it that the "ceasefire" was a farce or that the other party (BH) just wanna continue terrorizing the whole nation.

I don't want to say God punish whoever hand in this terrorism sh!t, because God is already customizing their punishment which they will get on his judgement day.

Am out.

When your chief of defense staff, the number 1 military man in the country run to press to annouce a seize fire with a entity not known to the entity and he spoke of the release of girls abducted by the same entity in 5days.

If after the 5days that he said the girls will be freed passed and no news of any girl freed or that a ceasefire that he gleefully annouced in cameroun has blown in his face as a fat lie then I think he should resign with any honour he still has left.

He had no business making the ceasefire announcement or that the chibok will be freed by tuesday. He ridiculed himself and the government he represents. There is so much cluelessness in this administration and it is rubbing off on our public image as a country when a whole CDS statement about a security issue can turn to be just an unintelligent and an expensive joke.
