Twitter are not backing down of the top social sites, infact they may be soaring higher. Now they’ve added a new feature to their name – Fabric. Fabric is a set of API’s for developers to build apps and services on Twitter’s platform.Twitter is not been selfish as they this feature is not aimed at what is best for the company – of course it all comes back to that, but wanted developers to be more productive.

Fabric is built upon Twitter’s social platform, but also ties in features from Twitter acquiree Crashlytics’s crash reporting software and fellow acquiree MoPub’s social targeting. But it’s not *just* about making apps that let you sign in with Twitter so they can shove ads in your users’ face. Twitter Mobile Platform Director Jeff Seibert showed off Cannonball, a TestFlight-like solution for distributing pre-release builds to testers without requiring account creation, letting you send particular builds with specific links.
In addition to this feature, Twitter has also unveiled a Twitter SDK for mobile, which hows developers create Twitter clients that shows rich media from its service and also integrate Twitter login – all this for mobile apps. And of course, it comes down to the developer seeing returns from his hardwork. The Twitter’s SDK will also assist developers to integrate MoPub; which is a hosted ad serving solution built specifically for mobile publishers to make revenue.
