Am currently doing my one year nysc service in Benue State and my place of primary assignment happens to be in a private school. We held a teacher's meeting today being monday as usual and my principal mention this disturbing information that some persons came from State Internal Board of Revenue saying all teachers are to pay tax including corpers serving. Honestly I don't understand cause it sound weird to me. Is it right and required by Law? Or is the funny man they have as a governor at it again?  |

No they dönt pay.only the schøol management or the owner pays tax |

the school takes it out of the regular teacher's salaries before it gets to them & as for the corpers,technically corper's aren't earning so should pay tax,I dunno what the law of the land says though |

That principal is a thief... The board of the school should be responsible for the tax. They wanna be collecting tax on little penny they're paying? |
