I think it will be best to let all this drama drift away from public glare and space like others before it, e.g. Faruk Lawal [Farukgate], COZA Man etc. The more the try to salvage whatever is left of their image, the more they are marred with more scandals. Unless and until all of us as a nation change our psyche and orientation we will continue this free fall into this abyss of economic, political and social decadence. Growing up [mind you, I am not above 40], I know that if you are a young person maybe in your 20s to 30s driving a car and get stopped at a police check point, the policemen will drill you tirelessly to check that you got permission from your father before driving the car. That is when penny by penny makes Plc, when you have to rise through the ranks in your chosen profession to be able to enjoy the fringe benefits that come with such hard work. These days, a young fellow like this will get on social media and flaunt such unexplained wealth without the relevant agencies of government like EFCC picking him up to query the source of his wealth. Do not get me wrong, it is not like you don't have young people eg entrepreneurs who by some stroke of genius made stupendous wealth.

The bulk of this wealth displayed on social media and in the open society usually are ill gotten. How will money rituals, robbery, kidnapping etcetra stop if we dont ask questions and condemn this advertisement of stupidity by these youngsters. I know a bunch of you will call me a hater but I dont give a hoot because in the first place, I don't even know him.

It is appalling when some of these fellows run out of luck and are picked by the relevant security agencies some Nigerians will come to their defence with comments like"he is just a hustler na" people should be made to account for their actions. Imagine squandering N11,000,000 in this recession. It doesnt show wisdom. Trust me if this money was acquired through hard work, it probably wouldnt be wasted in this manner. I dont see Dangote and co being this unreasonable.

From the stories of the alleged sordid affairs making the rounds, I can deduce the following;
1. That the Apostle via his media guys and the lady have admitted contact with each other. The manner of contact and the different versions of the reasons for contacting each other is another matter altogether.
2. The Apostle may have made an inappropriate contact with the lady in question in his unguarded moment and is paying severely for such possible indiscretion. This view is premised on the several flimsy excuses put up by his media guys. Firstly, that he hasnt met her in person but wired money to her in two separate occasions to aid her set up a business. Assisting her the first time without meeting or knowing her would be digestable. However, the 2nd assistance makes it look more than a passing interest in saving a lost soul. The jittery apprehension of what was up the ladies sleeves after leaving the prison as shown when the Apostle's media team expressed fears of doctored voice calls came across as someone who wasnt sure of what she had in her arsenal against him and wanted to start disabusing peoples mind before it hits the ceiling. That might suggest guilt.
3. I suspect that the pictures are real and not photoshopped and it probably is on that basis that the lady was blackmailing the Apostle. It is possible that the Apostle had caved in and obliged her blackmail demands before now and as is common with blackmailers, they would always keeping coming for more hence the sting operation where the police arranged for money to be deposited in her account and on her way to withdraw it she was apprehended.
4. The young lady should know that her claim of breach of promise to marry would not fly as she has admitted on camera that she knew the man was married. This admission leaves nothing to the imagination as to the kind of person this lady might be. She cannot turn around and front that the man deceived her because she knew his status abinitio and she didnt say the man said he would divorce his wife to be with her.
5. The claim that the lady was in Nigeria, Italy and America with the Apostle is neither here no there. She might be a stalker and was possibly fueled by a gold digging intention coupled with the communication history with the Apostle which she had saved, she probably wanted to acquire more blackmail evidence. The Apostle is a public figure and naturally his itinerary should be public and whoever was interested in him could figure out were he is heading to at every point in time. I watched a tv programme where a crazed young fan followed and attended lady gaga's concerts across the world.
6.The inconsistencies about the traditional marriage between her and the Apostle and her dads rebuttal of same is not helping her case.
7. Mentioning a specific persons name as someone who had sex with the Apostle has opened her to a defamation lawsuit by the named individual. Remember that in law, truth is the only justification for an alleged act of defamation. In this case the Apostle has denied having any immoral contact with her or anybody as buttressed by his wife in her interview. How is she going to establish a defence if the lady sues her? Her lawyers should have advised her otherwise.
8. Her demeanour in all her interviews will suggest that this whole saga is a game to her. The smirk on her face like someone who has just won an honour roll further suggests that her plans might be working out for her.
9.legally speaking, she has no case against the Apostle. However, in the court of public opinion, she has destroyed the man. I was watching the Apostle's gospel videos on YouTube and to be honest this scandal thing was a huge distraction. It would always be to the average person even when this fire burns out. The Apostle in my own humble view would have a case against her particularly all the supposed evidence of blackmail garned against her. The Apostle, however, will still be the greatest looser in this brouhaha. The saying goes that he whose back is to the ground needs not fear that he would fall. This means he has more to loose than the lady. His image has been gravely damaged in the court of public opinion going by some of the post l have been reading.
10. Under the law, the Apostle has not committed any offence by allegedly sleeping with her, but morally and socially, people view it differently, especially when you occupy such a revered office.
11. How is she going to prove the pregnancy is and abortion? Unless she has a medical report. Even if she has one, did she make a police report against the Apostle for inducing the abortion? This will all be in the realms of allegation. Your word against mine.

What is d reason for this bizarre show of desperation. His academic certificate indicates that he just graduated in 2015 and this is just 2016. He only became eligible for employment in May 2016 as that's when he purportedly finished serving. Haba! Patience and perseverance are sterling virtues.
