Dizziness is a common symptom of many medical
conditions. It is important to know the exact cause of
your dizziness to be able to treat underlying medical
conditions, if any.

In this article, we are going to talk about some of the most common causes of dizziness. Dizziness can be caused by abnormal blood pressures. People with high blood pressure usually experience dizziness because of the surge of blood to different parts of the body including the brain. It is said that high blood pressure can have negative effects to the brain which causes the latter to respond slower making the head blur or hurt at times.

Low blood pressure can also cause dizziness because of the low surge of blood. This may be caused by heart problems or blood problems such as anaemia. Dizziness can be a result of various heart problems. When the heart beats irregularly, people may feel dizzy.

This is especially true when the heart rate too
slow or too fast. When the heart rate is too slow, not
enough blood is being pumped and this can affect many
parts of your body. The same is true for condition such
as cardiomyopathy where the heart becomes weakened.
Dizziness can be a result of brain problems. Examples of
these conditions include tumor of the brain and stroke.

These problems are also the main cause of migraines
and vertigo. Brain problems relating to memory may also
cause dizziness such as dementia and Alzheimer’s
disease. Even mental problems such as depression and
other things that cause a surge of emotions may make
one person to become lightheaded. Dizziness can be
caused by certain medications. You may be well-aware
already that many medications have side effects. Wobbly
feeling is often a side effect of medications for high
blood pressure and depressive disorders. The same can
be said for pain relievers and sedatives. Medications that
affect the fluid and electrolyte amounts in the body may
also cause light- headedness.

Dizziness may emerge from problems in the metabolism. For instance, when you have a low blood sugar level, you will most likely feel dizzy. This is because there is very little sugar that your body can absorb and convert to energy. It is important to maintain a good blood sugar level if you do not want to faint while doing your daily activities.

The same can be said for dehydration. If the water level in your blood is too low, this may cause you problems in blood circulation and in removing toxins in your body.
