The sitting senator was defeated by Hon. John Owan Enoh who currently represents Cross River,Obubra/Etung (Federal Constituency). Owan Enoh scored 217 votes and won Ndoma-Egba who scored 37.

There was serious fight this evening at Calabar Road axis just because of the most outcome of the senatorial primaries. Sad. We were locked in the church for hours after Christmas Carol service.

Payback time for Ndoma-Egba who is largely known as an Abuja politician by members of his constituency.
