Nigeria is not under any spell or curse.Nigeria is only going through a cycle that will soon end, for this to be facilitated Nigeria has to reduce it dependence on crude oil and diversify into areas.
2. Our over dependence on government should be reduced to lowest level and small businesses should be encouraged and a conducive environment provided for it to thrive.
There are a million and one solution to Nigeria problems, but at this point I dont think Nigeria is ready!!!!

nigeria's case is not peculiar, if you examine what other great countries went through, china went through worse before communism under chairman mao and during mao's communist govt,they also had ethnic disagreements between the manchus who were a smaller ethnic group and the hans who were the dominant ethnicity same as our tribal disagreements,there were riots,corruption famine e.t.c
same as india too,the serious riots and killings before pakistan split with india,leaderhsip problems,rigging,riots what have you,so while the corruption,bad leadership e.t.c repeats itself,we are actually learning and moving foward in the experiment called nigeria, at least millitary coups and dictatorship is now a thing of the past,while it is not properly entrenched,but now corrupt technocrats and politicians are being called to order and embarrassed and it can only get better
