[size=18pt]The OP is making sense , instead of tape recorder however , a good phone records with enough clarity if student sits at the front row or where lecturer is , that's the beauty of it , however if its not clear enough , download voice filter application , run on your laptop and edit the lectures recorded


You also need a home theatre , or boom box , play the recorded lecture on it with your friends around , you all relive the lecture over and over again

Trust me I scored about 90 in a law test and exam doing just that !

laptop is very essentially but this is based on ones department and timing(project) else it could be used solely for entertainment. I say a total no to tape recorder at least not in this 21st century, you can only see that with visually impaired persons. A phabet or tablet at this tech age is a must for every Nigerian students for its usefulness are numerous.
