Hollywood has had its share of power couples, such as "Brangelina", "TomKat" and the still-infamous "Bennifer". Yet, an unusual and intriguing set of couples exists among the glitz and glamour of show business: non-celebrities with traditional careers or blue-collar jobs who've tied the knot with uber-rich A-listers. Ever wonder how these fairy-tale couples met? Here's a look at how seven legendary celebs came upon their not-so-famous better halves.

1. Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren

Stockholm-native Elin Nordegren worked as a model in Sweden. While working at a clothing store in Stockholm, she met Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik's wife, Mia, and eventually accepted a job as an au pair for the couples' children in the United States. Nordegren attended the British Open at Royal Lytham in England in 2001 and was introduced to renowned golfer Tiger Woods. They were engaged two years later and married October 2004 in Barbados. This couple appeared to have a fairy-tale marriage, complete with two young children, a dog and a $2.6 million home in Florida. Unfortunately, reports surfaced in 2009 that Tiger Woods had been involved in several extramarital affairs, and Woods eventually made a public admission of his infidelities. After a storm of media reports, the couple divorced in August 2010.
2. Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa

Danielle Deleasa didn't really know of the hit pop band the Jonas Brothers when she first met them on a beach in the Bahamas in 2007. The former hairdresser's family and the family of the pop-rock trio were both vacationing on the island. Joe Jonas claimed to have had his eye on Deleasa first, but it was his older brother, Kevin, who ultimately developed a relationship with her. He proposed two years later on the doorstep of Deleasa's family home in New Jersey with a diamond ring he helped design. The couple married December 2009 in Long Island, New York.

3. Nicholas Cage and Alice Kim

Alice Kim worked at a sushi bar in Los Angeles, California, as a waitress when she met Nicholas Cage in 2004. Despite a 20-year age difference, their romance quickly took off. Two months later, they were engaged and by July they had married in Northern California. Kim is Cage's third wife, but also one of his longest marriages to date. Perhaps this unlikely couple really are a perfect match!

4. Matt Damon and Luciana Bozan

Luciana Bozan was working as bartender at the Crobar in Miami, Florida, in 2003 when she met Matt Damon. Damon was in the area filming "Stuck on You", an off-beat comedy about conjoined twins who move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. As it turned out, Damon got stuck on Bozan, and he proposed to her two years later, presenting her with a platinum ring. They married in Manhattan in December of 2005.

5. Robert DeNiro and Grace Hightower

Former flight attendant Grace Hightower was at a nightclub in London in 1987 when she received a note from a restaurant manager. According to People Magazine, it was from the Oscar-winning actor Robert DeNiro. Just what the debonair DeNiro said to woo her is anyone's guess, but the couple married 10 years later at their estate in Marbletown, New York. The couple survived a tumultuous period around 2001 and almost divorced, but stuck it out to renew their vows in 2004.

6. Clint Eastwood and Dina Ruiz

In 1993, KSBW-TV anchorwoman Dina Ruiz had never even seen a complete Clint Eastwood film. Despite this, the Salinas, California TV station she worked for sent her to conduct a 15-minute interview with the actor who had won four Oscars for his Western movie "Unforgiven." The interview lasted three hours, igniting a relationship between the actor and anchorwoman. Eastwood proposed a couple of years later, adorning Ruiz with a diamond and ruby engagement ring. He topped it off with a surprise private wedding ceremony at the Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.
7. Julia Roberts and Danny Moder

Danny Moder was working as a camera operator on the set of "The Mexican" in 2000, which starred Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. Moder had been married for four years to make-up artist Vera Steimberg Moder when he met Roberts, who was ending her relationship with actor Benjamin Bratt. More than a year later, Moder finalized his divorce and married Roberts on July 4, 2002 in Taos, New Mexico. The couple has three children.

Can someone write the Nollywood version?
