To imagine that the PDP can know that Buhari never made this statement and that they (the PDP Presidency) begged and apologized for it, yet all they did was kept Reuben silent and threw out other canines, Metuh and co, to continue right where Reuben stopped, is some of the most sick and evil stuff one can encounter or ever imagine. All this against the elderly, respectable General, because they see it as a fancy tool to generate animosity against their strongest single adversary… as a tool to hold on to power?

It is one thing to fabricate a lie against someone. It is another thing to transplant an evil of your doing unto a person who you know is innocent. That is the most evil, evil in the books in my humble view. This precisely is what PDP did and continues to do. It helped to galvanize votes by nurturing strange harmony in extremists and religious fanatics, especially northophobes who never cared to study the truth. (Truths like- northerners select southerners like Obasanjo or support Middle Belt Christians like Gowon into power; and truth like; why will northerners bomb up their own home-land and purposely destroy their chief resource – farming – to make a point).

Yeah, this issue between the accused GMB and Reuben abati as an argument has an element of fallacy of Straw man. One of pdp member said Nigeria would not be governable if GEJ come into power after the death of Yaradua and some people associated the post with GMB because he was the opponent of Gej in 2011.

One of the reason why people will surely associate that post to Buhari was because of the post election in the north and the killing of some nysc member. Mr seun, you would have made your post more explicit if you explain the meaning of Fallacy of straw man

Not everyone has a close mind, there are lots of sane and objective individuals who can see through lies when confronted with the truth.

I know there are sane being in Nigeria. I do know that most people can decipher between truth and lies.

The only thing I cant vouch as at now is, I do not know if Nigerians will be able to balance the acclaim falsehood with the proposed reality of fact in the political atmosphere of our country.

Are we not running in a vicious circle in the course of this argument? If the receiver of the message decode theinformation the way he/she understands, then there is a possibility the news will be term propaganda. Just rest your arrow of argument because it seem you are trying to raise points against my view, but in the end you end up supporting my first claim that the news will be viewed as political propaganda in the eyes of the masses.
