Ladoja is a very strong Man of Accord. Even Tinubu mentioned how he refused to work with Apc in today's rally at Mapo. If you watch the rally on T.V , u wld have noticed how Tinubu was pained and trying to clamour for votes. Ladoja and Ajimobi are both from Oyo, majority of average living people in Oyo are going for Ladoja because he is more of a grassroot politician, though Ajimobi has tried but the problem is that he has stepped on alot of people including traders with his so called Urban renewal project.

There fighting for their pockets. Foolish Nigerians.

They use the peoples money to school abroad and here are fools trying to romanticize them.

Did they school in Oyo state? What exactly has their father done for the masses?

My friend, your mind can be the greatest 'prison' impeding your development if you choose to 'malnourish' it with ignorance and unobjective bitterness always. Your mind can also be a fantastic enabling tool that will allow you to become like Ajimobi if you develop, educate and nourish it. Google is your friend. There is no excuse for ignorance in this day and age. Go and look into the history of Ajimobi to see he is not a man who would ever struggle to send his children to the finest schools available. If you can come here to ungraciously and ignorantly castigate a self-made leader like Ajimobi , given his outstanding history as a very successful and top level technocrats, then who exactly should join Nigerian politics according to you?

Abiola Ajimobi.

His university education was in the United States of America. He studied Business Administration and Finance at the State University New York, in Buffalo, New York graduating with a Bachelors of Science. His MBA was in Operations Research and Marketing with a concentration in Finance at the Governor’s State University, Park Forest, Illinois. As a result of his academic credentials and excellent performance at the New York Insurance examinations, he was engaged in Buffalo, New York as a state certified underwriter, by Equitable Life Assurance Corporation, which was then the 2nd largest Insurance Company in America.[4]

Professional career[edit]
He returned to Nigeria in 1977 and joined Management and Industrial Consulting firm as a Senior Consultant. He thereafter worked briefly with Modulor Group (an architectural firm) as the Finance and Admin Controller, before joining Nestle Foods PLC. as the Operations Controller and later as Marketing Controller. In 1979, he joined National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company as the Consumer Products Manager. He was the youngest Manager to occupy such a sensitive position. His performance quickly earned him promotion to the level of Divisional Manager within one and a half years. Thus becoming the youngest Divisional Manager to be thus appointed.

He was later promoted to head a newly created Corporate Credit division reporting directly to the Managing director. As a top flyer in the company and based on his problem solving ability he was deployed to Ibadan Business District as the Area Manager to ensure the repositioning of the company's entire activities in the area. The Company and the district experienced landmark achievements in its modern retail network resulting. In 1987 he built the company’s first 3 in 1 and the largest petrol station retail outlet in Nigeria. The district office built during his tenure still stands out today in Jericho, Ibadan.

In 1987, based on a worldwide international strategic positioning of the lubricants business desired by Shell International Oil Company, he was appointed the Lubricants Manager. He successfully built a new Lubricant division which became the most profitable business of the company and the largest contributor to the corporate profit. Having completed the strategic repositioning of the Lubricants department, he was moved to manage another troubled business arm- the aviation department. By 1993, he had acquired broad exposure in virtually all the marketing arms of the company. As part of the grooming programme he was posted on an international assignment to Shell International storage company of Togo, serving the whole of West Africa as Chief Executive. He also was the Operations Director of Shell Marketing Company in Togo covering some West African countries.

He returned to Nigeria in 1995 and was appointed in 1996 as Oil Sales Manager in 1998. He was appointed to the board of the company as Executive director- Marketing, a position he held before his appointment on February 2001, as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company. As Managing Director he substantially improved the profitability of the company and the shareholders fortune. In 2003, he voluntarily retired after 26 years of service in the Oil industry.

In his successful professional career spanning a period of over three decades, Abiola Ajimobi was quick witted and positively impacted on the businesses and people he interacted with.[4]

I wonder how a man can live with himself when all he does is spread the gospel of hatred around. How could someone wake up and not think of any productive thing to do in life besides saying how yorubas did this, or Muslims did that, insult an entire tribe and religion knowing fully well how sensitive these things are??

Wish Seun could ban him for life including all his alter-monikers.

What concerns GBTYO with this thread? Did I make a comment here?

It is good to see that the pure bitter truth is finally leaving a sour taste in your mouths.

I know why the Khadijah thread got locked. It was because I highlighted the fact that Islamic Terror groups like Al Qaeda in Yemen are now recruiting southwest radical Muslims in place of the conventional northern Ab0ki after a travel ban and restriction has been in force on that section since the AbdullMutallab incidence and with the Boko Menance. You guys in the Southwest are now Substitutes.

No matter how hard you choose to lie to yourselves or hide it, the truth always has a way of rearing it's head.

Have they now bcom political tool for winning elections? Or is d banking sector's strategy of deploying beautiful female staff for marketing purposes now being employed by d APC? If yes, then sex indeed sells.

Bruv, don't let it get to you too much. Most of these guys are wretched losers in real life. They are frustrated and in pain. They must blame someone for their failures and inadequacies rather than look at themselves honestly and brainstorm progressively about how to make themselves better human beings who can win at the game of life. Most of these riff-raffs, as the picture expose thingy revealed, are not fit to lace your shoes and you probably would not even employ them as your houseboy. Best to remember that cheap broadband and mobile browsing now unites successful and happy people with frustrated, koboless and hateful losers.

Ok let me respond to that as brief as I can. 1st lets get something clear. If u want to know candidates that may win in the face of reality, u have to ignore the propaganda and eulogies on social media and beam ur searchlight on what is actually on ground politically. Because that is what will determine what happens on election day.

Out of all aspirants, we have the major contending candidates (ajimobi, ladoja akala) and the other 2 are no contest candidates. Out of the 3 major contenders, the candidate with most narrow chance of winning is the incumbent AJIMOBI. U know why? because back in 2011 when he became governor, The then ACN was able to mobilize an overwhelming political mercenaries in the state to work for him both within and outside of the the then ACN. And even at that, only a controversial result from one local government gave him a narrow win. If not, Akala almost won.

Now Flash forward 2015 Ajimobi had lost all of the goodwill he had in 2011 by his own actions. Any political relevance left for Ajimobi is only on the media powered by the effect of incumbency. This is a governor whom almost 2 cycles of his entire cabinet had left him to opposition parties. He sacked an entire cabinet, they were aggrieved and left to opposition parties, he appointed another set and as at today, majority of the new set had also left. Every single political weight that mobilized for him in 2011 will mobilize against him in 2015. So how can he win?

facebook and twitter can't ensure his victory? Cos the truth is, the market women, mechanics and street traders who will actually vote on that day do not even know those exist.

He is the only candidate that may not have block vote in any of the regions in Oyo State. Its very obvious, he can't have it again in oke ogun because Koleoso who is the adedibu of okeogun was in ACN BACK IN 2011 and mobilized for his candidate (ajimobi)but when ajimobi neglected him and the Lam faction of the party and immediately after the death of Lam, Koleoso who was the second in command to Lam moved out en masse with the entire Lamists who were the obvious majority and went to a vacant LAPOUR PARTY. Today, the candidate of Labour is Akala, the party's political robustness had swollen overnight, So what that means is that the Oke ogun mercenaries whose candidate back in 2011 was Ajimobi will now be working assiduously for Akala in 2015

He can't have block vote in Ogbomosho, that is more obvious than anything

He can't have block vote again in Oyo because Oyo for the 1st time is now politically divided between Skimee Alaafin's son and Kamil who is also now in Labour Party. Ilaka remains in Accord and the Alaafin magic may not work this time around. Because this same time back in 2011, Alaafin was all over the place in the state literally campaigning for Ajimobi. But now about a month to the election, did u hear any word from the Oyo king whether on radio, internet or newspaper? The question is why?

He can't have block vote in Ibadan and that is obvious too because out of all 5 candidates contesting, 4 are from Ibadan so Ibadan votes would be balkanized and shared amongst all even including the candidate from outside Ibadan. The candidate that will most likely have the highest vote in Ibadan is Ladoja because he has the structure and the mercenaries to pull it and that is what matters

So with the reality on ground, I do not see Ajimobi having more votes than both Ladoja and Akala. Because in Ibadan his home turf, Ladoja will have more votes than him, whether marginally or widely while Akala will have the most votes from Ogbomosho and oke ogun axis so what is left for Ajimobi?

Right! Gbenga Daniel was a "successful" Mechanical engineer with kresta laurel before he became governor, yet he looted Ogun dry. Akala was a "successful" and "accomplished" police officer before he became governor. We all know his story. Tinubu was a "successful" accountant with Mobil before he became a governor. Not successful enough to afford a private jet though. Now he owns one. Who's deceiving who? undecided

Well its because the politicians are always going to the same area where the brown roofs are. Because that is where they would find crowd. If they go to Bodija, Oluyole, Ikolaba, bashorun and so on, they might have just few passers by listening to them and that will make them look unpopular. A campaign in front of Mapo Hall is sure crowd for any political candidate.

Get it?
