This is achievable. Its done in uk. some buses have free WiFi and some eateries too. You never know how important internet is until u have access to it at very low rate. once its on few brt,its as good as being all over lagos. This is same way people would have laughed at anybody who promised gsm for all in 1980. Now its achievable. www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/internet/11016941/Transport-for-London-trials-free-WiFi-on-buses.html https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/home/freewifi 2 Likes |

I can say it categorically that this promise can not stand the test of the day. Do you know how much it cost to pay for a Bandwidth in Nigeria? Politician can lie, they will tell you they want to construct flyover on Atlantic Ocean, they will tell you they will channel Crude oil enter your papa house just to get your vote. Once the enter, nah another stories.... Abeg make the man free us with this......I dey look sha..... 1 Like |

BEFORE YOU START CAMPAIGNING FOR ALL THIS POLITICIANS ANALYSE THEIR MANIFESTO VERY WELL AND THINK WELL Free internet is NOT A POSSIBLE in any growing society after all telecoms providers has to be pay their staffs and also maintain their equipments to provide service. There will be no internet service provider willing to give internet free because cost of doing business in this country is on a very high side. We leak electricity supply in abundant and everyday telecom operators spend so much money on their generator sets running before they can provide a signal bar of signal. So where will the telecoms company find the free money to provide you free internet? In England there's no free wifi except from the underground train stations and restaurants which will provide you internet based on some terms and conditions or indirect payments like your meals and travel fare. Even if government should reduce petrol to 87 naira a litre, free internet will not be possible in this environment. Please analyse their promises before you vote. NOTE: I am not supporting any political party, they are all the same set of people in the system. I need someone fresh. 1 Like |

Free internet at what speed? Having free internet is not the thing but being able to use the internet. We still struggle to open a single page on paid internet not to talk of free internet, , It will take 2 weeks to load a nairaland website. I think these guys should solve power problems and leave all this free-to-air promises. Internet is not our problem, afterall, we need power to use the internet, charge our fones and the rest. 3 Likes |

Tonniey: its not that simple, apples to apples comparison dictates crude oil is not equal to petrol. usually the price of petrol involves other costs such as refining factored in. nonetheless, anything more than 45/liter is criminal. |

Lmao!!! Baba trying to buy the votes of the internet users... this is utter crap.. even in very more advanced countries sef, there is no free internet for the inhabitants of a certain area... the freeest internet you can have is wifi hotspots in some very designated locations where people coverge daily.. and even at that, its not totally free. 1hr free internet access max.. question for agbaje.. how many gb is one internet user entitled to and how does he intend paying the monthlyy bills? Useless desperate promise.. 2 Likes |
