Hi Nairalanders, It would be a great delight for legal minds in the house to explain to us the meaning of
the section 318 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria concerning school Certificate issue of GMB.

Please could any legal practitioner explain School Certificate or its equivalent in the Constitution?

While we're at this, can we also consider implications of having or not having the required number of credits including Maths and English, that qualifies anybody for employment, further education in higher institutions, etc?

My question is, assuming GMB does have a WASSCE certificate out there somewhere and someday it is seen by d general public because it has become a matter of public discourse, and it does happen that he did not pass the requisite number of subjects with d required basic credits, does such qualify as being educated up to school cert level? Considering that proof of education is passing examinations set on the subjects of his education?
Can his employment by the Army be called into question on the basis of not passing basic exams?

Legal minds should please help us out now that it's breaking news that army is not having both original and photocopies of GMB school Certificate.
