Better still let us bend the law to accomodate Mr intergrity.Infact to pre empt any litigation against Buhari in future let us abolish the law and close down the judiciary...

Because the laws of the land will prevent him from doing that which he is born to do: rule us.

This is boring, go to court when they call off their strike. That is better, you get the chance to outrightly disqualify General Buhari and President Jonathan can get reelected easily.

Common sense solution for you.

The more you persist, the more popular Buhari will get.
At the appropriate time that option will be explored besides our homework must be done very well before that therefore we need as concerned citizens to ask critical questions, raise more dust and truly get to the bottom of the issue so that everyone is aware of the happenings and their consequences.....Buhari's popularity is not our problem because the electorate are composed of sane minds who aren't swayed easily by Nairaland popularity contest but facts, figures and evidence on ground...

Dumb op, you don't get a certificate twice but you can get a proof of certificate ownership from the appropriate authority. That's all we ask for, anything other than that makes him a monumental liar and an infidel.

I beg to disagree!

The certificate issue bothers seriously on the integrity of the candidate! It has to be dealt with in the most transparent way possible. As it stands, there still matters arising. The one concerned should quickly, and transparently deal with any and all inconsistencies observed. Only then can it be put to rest!

The inconsistencies and worris sounds more like your own personal issues since they are baseless and meaningless in front of INEC as the governing body.

Are you INEC? Of course you are not..

Politicians are known for lying so I don't care about little lies here and there that have no material impact on the way the country is governed. If Buhari doesn't have a certificate, who cares? The man's literacy, knowledge and intelligence have nothing to do with that old piece of paper.

You may not, but several people do care.

When you come to equity, you must come with clean hands! Buhari claimed he has certificate, for sake of his integrity, he should provide it.

Actually, his knowledge and intelligence has a lot to do with what that old piece of paper says. That paper has made or mar several people's live in Nigeria. If Buhari had 'forged' that small piece of paper to gain unfair advantage, it invariably convenes more importance on the paper! If it weren't important, he wouldn't have claimed to have it in the first place.

Talking of intelligence, did you see the sort of subject Buhari passed and failed? For crying out loud, what kind of person failed secondary school work work, when he's not even good at maths? What does that say for the intelligence of such individual?

If Nigeria's problem cannot be solved by someone who possesses PHD, what can someone with a 'dodgy' WASC do? You can't give what you don't have!

all that is not important any longer. Buhari's certificate is now Jonathan's problem.
PDP knows they have lost this battle. Anyone who is not satisfied with Buhari's result should kindly go to court!

Maybe we should throw our constitution into the atlantic ocean. Lying in court under oath is ok as long as you have literacy, knowledge and intelligence
he never lie,obj even confirm it,that when d matter came up in 2007,they found out,d certificate were with d military board,so overnight d saTANiod went to remove it from his file.no weapon form against buhari shall prosper.

Jonathan is scared of a presidential debate with Buhari that's why his party keeps enlongating the Buhari certificate saga and his eligiblity to contest.
FFK should dare Buhari for a debate with Jonathan and let's see how it goes.
I'll love to see the debate between Sambo and Osinbajo.

No, I won't. If it comes from Cambridge or WAEC, I will accept it.
But he still lied under oath.
For the purpose of the dictates of the Constitution that the candidate should be educated to a certain level, with what is obtained in examinations today, the statements of result and testimonials carry more weight than certificates. There are people who never passed through any secondary school but sat for GCE. How does any school ascertain the conducts of these people to make them eligible in moral standard for further recommendation?
