I am in urgent need of a mini truck like Toyota Dyna, Mitsubushi Canter, Mercedes 608, or any other good one. I would have gone for Kia truck, but price is way too high for me. Truck will be used to carry goods around South South and South East regions.

Truck will be
- cheap to maintain
- parts readily available
- easy to work on by mechanic (I don't know if they are OBD II compliant).
- not more than 1.5M naira.
- diesel or petrol engine (whichever gurus will advised)

I don't know anything about mini truck, so I need candid advice on the above.

In abeokuta where I schooled, there are only two trucks of that SIZE that are used, mitsubishi canter or toyota dyna, but the canter has more presence on the road than the dyna I think it maybe due to the fact that the canter has variants from the head size to the load carrier. I would advice you buy the ones with double wheels at each side at the back, they tend to be sturdy and navigate rough roads easily and the small wheels gives them appropriate balance. The kia or hyundai I see are mostly used by companies this may be due to the fact that their tokunbo is not readily available only brand new.

More suggestions needed.
