This question was actually asked me by a friend, and honestly i didn't know how best to answer him.
Please lets analyse this question together.

well if it is not going to affect the ongoing fasting then i permit you

fasting is punishing urself by depriving ur self things u enjoy doing just to get closer to GOD
so u dont sex while fasting even with ur wife

for if you cannot control your flesh it is better to do so than to burn , though paul says defraud (deny) ye not one the other , except it be with consent for a time , that ye may give yourself to fasting and prayer , and come together again , that satan tempt you not for your incontinency . but i speak this by permission, and not by commandment I corin 7;5&6)

its not a sin if it's with your wife naa

I want to assume you are talking about sex in marriage, if the person is married before going into a fast it has to be with the consent of the spouse and another point to be noted is the duration of the fast and the type of fast. One cannot be on a long fast like 40 days and more and expect your spouse will just be waiting on the other side till the person is done with the fast. Obviously, there will be times they'll be intimate and this is holy and acceptable before God. Nevertheless, there will short fasts for maybe 3 to 7 days and for such short periods total abstinence maybe observed.

But na husband and wife go do the fast nah. The husband or wife no go stay for corner dey wait for his/her partner to finish the fast. U see? That's why the Bible says U must marry in the Lord.
