if buhari is running from debate with local media how can he represent Nigeria on world stages like un, au and ecowas meetings. A general who wants to communicate to Nigerians through town hall meetings is not fit to rule Nigeria

I'm more interested in the man who can solve domestic problems, not one who will speak grammar or dance atilogwu at UN.

insecurity, unemployment, corruption, poverty, infrastructure, etc. Just stay back @ home and solve all these problems. Who cares about UN.

In any case, he's fully capable. He's even more articulate and more presidential than the fisherman who can't speak without fidgeting his hands or reading from a paper. We've also got the even more capable Osinbanjo, just in case.

He attended the US war college and communicated with top level Americans

SO this wont be a problem

Tell me how his representing you at th UN improve the standard of leaving Nigerains. If your Phd president could say ' How much did he stole?' don't you wonder what other worse errors he must have committed at his meetings at the UN

how was he the one ruling, was he more popular than the president? The only major thing he did was the implementation of WAI and nothing else.

Some Nigerians think a military General is moi moi.
Buhari has commanded officers and men equal to or larger than a medium sized community, was a Governor, minister and Head of State. He cannot be running away from dealing with a bloody civilian. As a military General, he should know what can win him a battle and when to make a tactical withdrawal.

He is an old fashioned ruler. Somehow. Smh. Nigeria which way?
Re: Can Buhari Represent Nigeria In United Nations Meeting? by Adminisher: 10:29pm On Feb 02, 2015
Buhari met Margaret Thatcher Prime Minister of Britain, many European leaders, most Presidents of OPEC countries, at least 15 African heads of state as Petroleum Minister and Head of State. In his meeting with Margaret Thatcher, the woman told him that all the money Nigeria was owing their county then could have been paid by only five Nigerians who had stolen money from Naija to stash in UK banks.
When you ask dumb questions like this on the internet, three things become clear. (1) You are under 40 and a product of Nigeria's broken educational system (2) you don't bother to read and research but depend on the impressions downloaded to you by politicians not necessarily more intelligent than you but a little more exposed and (3) you have been paid to do this and you heave rushed to produce something as quickly as possible. .
So my advice to if you are in your 30s which is the same age Buhari was when he was governor of a state in Nigeria is to find more rewarding things to do than be an appendage of someone's ambition and secondly Nigeria was a more sophisticated country in 1983 so if we were cheating Buhari when he was head of state there must have been a reason.
