According to research from Open Signal – a technology reseach company, shows that 66 percent of Nigerians use dual SIM phones.
At 66 percent prevalence, Open Signal, the crowdsourced cell phone signal startup, has flagged Nigeria as the country with the highest penetration of dual SIM devices in the world.

These calculations typically use subscriber numbers provided by mobile network operators.
Meaning; for every five mobile phones in Nigeria, three will most likely turn out to be Dual SIMed. South Korea has the lowest prevalence at 0.40 percent.

China only tried providing a solution to the problems of
high tariff from one network provider to the other and poor service provided by them.

Imaging a guy having to call a gurl's glo line using mtn at a rate of 40k/s. The guy will find it more preferable to get a glo sim to make 'glo kappah' call.

Imagine staying in the nigerian locations that are service selective. The only help one can offer oneself is to get the sim(s) that will have a good signal in these locations.
