Good response. We know Sahara reporters and their lies. If they had it all this while, why didn't they publish it after the election.

This is a cheap blackmail and people should be very careful of what they read on the internet. APC is a very desperate party with desperate motives.

They kill, they manipulate, arm twist, forge, rig etc just to get power and money.

Even fayemi admitted he lost. The people of ekiti both old, young and youth rejoiced at the exit of fayemi.

A man that sleeps on a 100 million naira bed in ekiti is now claiming to be rigged out

A million lai mohammed can not change our opinion on apc
Where did they say they had it all this while?

The context of the conversation being reported by Sahara Reporters has been deliberately concocted, manipulated and misrepresented to achieve a predetermined narrative. Nowhere in the purported recording did Senator Obanikoro mention directly or indirectly a plan to rig the Ekiti State elections as the Sahara Reporters narrative suggests.

Pls read this statement carefully, Koro is not disputing that the meeting took place and that the recordings are genuine, he is only challenging the interpretation!

Fayose on the other hand has totally rejected that the meeting ever occured. God don catch una! They are now suspicious of each other.

The is the real smoking gun required by APC to prove that PDP using the army and the other state security agencies helped to rig the Ekiti gubernatorial election in favour of Fayose.

This should get as far as the Supreme Court.

This should alarm everyone as to how far Jonathan is willing to go in order to win his election.

If, if and I repeat if, the voices from the recording are not that of Fayose, Obanikoro and Omisore etc, my late grandmother was a virgin when she died.

Obanikoro Disclaims Audio Recording on Ekiti Elections

Our attention has been drawn to an audio recording released on Thursday by Sahara Reporters, an online news website. In the audio recording, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro is presented as having a conversation alongside current Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Senator Iyiola Omisore amongst other names purportedly identified by Sahara Reporters as participants in the said meeting.

But these are the facts:

1. That Senator Obanikoro wishes to state categorically and emphatically that you will never find him anywhere in the world talking about rigging an election in favour of anyone.

So KORO admits he was at the meeting.

This part doesn't make sense.. Blackmail is still illegal in Nigeria so why didn't Senator Obanikoro’s team report the matter to the authorities?

You are right, why did APC not tender this at the tribunal if it's real?
