Even if Nigerian public office holders were caught high on heroine, eating human flesh, watching child porn and raping a he-goat all at once they will never resign!!!

Not to talk of when they are simply doing the bidding of the Government or supposedly doing what will generate revenue or protect the interests of the Government.

That's true because it's their duties. Even in syria and other war zone country they held elections. It's because Nigerian Government doesn't have a shame that called for postponement of election on the ground of insecuirty.
Will you go to the North and work as INEC's Ad-hoc staff during the election without the presence of the military? Hahahaha, ur neck go sweet for that 14 year old almagiri pen knife fa.

MARCH OVER, A NEW DISCOVERY.
WILL HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF?
The moment I heard dat the General Election was postponed till march 28th 2015, I took a swift action into history & gladly discovered dat dis postponement is an Aural of Divinity. March is very significant in the political History of the world. President F.Kennedy of US, an opposition candidate won Presidential election in March 1968. Former Zimbabwe prime minister, Morgan Tsvangirai lost an election to an opposition presidential candidate, Robert Mugabe in the month of March. I also glanced through ukraine history and saw how a ruling party lost presidential election in march 2003. March is always a good time to march over and take control. It is the best time 4 an opposition party to march over and win election. Buhari is fully ready to march over. Please join the marching Team today.

Let's 'March' Buhari 2 Aso Rock #GeneralMarch4Buhari (GMB)

Excellent Talk
God Bless Nigeria.

There was no wrong deed by GEJ

The two real reasons for election postponement

1. The last batch of 15million PVCs only arrived on 4th February and it will be unfair to hold elections 10 days after. If INEC could not do justice to 48M PVCs in 6 months how can dey do justice to 15M PVCs in 9 days?

2. The joint armed forces of Chad, Nigeria and Niger are on an offensive programme in the north east. Coincidentally the AU's decision to support coincides with the elections. Its only fair to allow the military conclude its progam now that we've got the corporation of our neighbours. Elections at the NE at this time will be a huge distraction

1. Is GEJ the one to tell INEC they are not ready?? INEC says they are ready, and that should be final.

2. It is the responsibility of the armed forces to protect the people at all times! The election is jst 2 days, what kind of distraction will that cause? We only need military protrction in the NE, and not all of Nigeria.

It is Wamako and the sokoto state REC who should resign for their attempt to disenfranchise some LGAs in sokoto state by having their PVCs burnt, while agitating for non-shifting of the elections. The Service Chiefs and the top security hierarchy ought to be commended for their sense of patriotism in recommending the shift in election date. We implore the security agencies to investigate the activities of those 20 RECs that were against the shifting of the elections, especially as it concerns the low PVC collection in their states occasioned mostly by the strange disappearance of the PVCs of innocent voters. Jega must as a matter of urgency, ensure that all missing PVCs are reproduced and the owners contacted to collect them within the next four weeks, else we would safely conclude that he has also sold out to the agenda of the evil forces trying to destroy Nigeria. We recommend that the President, as the Chief Security Officer of the country, places all suspicious elements officials within and outside INEC under security watch, inorder to ensure that the integrity of the elections is not compromised. This president has shown the willingness to give us a credible election, and must not allow desperate politicians to scuttle the whole process. If the president has refused to induce INEC to his own advantage, he must also ensure that no political party infiltrates INEC at whatever level to induce it to their own selfish interests. Jega is advised to pay more attention to what the RECs are doing in their individual states, to ensure that they don't tarnish his name. GEJ till 2019.

Internal security is not a responsibility of the military. The military didn't provide security in 2011 election, militarisation of elections satrted in edo elections and then ekiti and osun. Is elections now a threat to national security??

They are colluding with PDP. Right? Right.
Did you not hear the allegations leveled against Jega by the Southern Elders Forum about how he schemed the whole electoral process to favour you, the North and demanded for his resignation?
What is your reply to those allegations.
I bet you if Jega is a Southerner, with such baggage, the whole North will be calling for his head.

It is more than coincidence that all the elections that have been acclaimed free and fair by local and international observers had the military involved.

Now that is one gain we are not in a haste to loose just because rabblerousers feel otherwise.

Get used to it, the military will continue to help Nigerian civilians conduct credible elections until we we are sane enough to do the right and fair thing on our own.

Yes, the military should help, but they should not become so important and powerful to d extent of determining schedule and reschedule of elections.
If INEC says they want elections on any day, the military has no option dan to go with INEC decision but to now threaten INEC and insist on a postponement is overstepping dia boundary and treacherous

Security supercedes all electoral processes. No elections should proceed if the security of such process cannot be guaranteed.

The army are part and parcel of the ongoing fight against insurgency as well as part of previous elections. So I guess that to suit you lot,we have to disregard them irrespective of the security report they possess which you are not privy to just to sound politically correct?

Anyway, why am I explaining to you in the first place? The deal is done and you have no option than live with it.

Contrary to the mistaken
belief of the INEC leadership the armed forces
have no role to play in the electoral process.
Since it is the exclusive constitutional
responsibility of the Nigeria Police Force to
maintain law and order during elections the INEC
should have called off the bluff of the security
chiefs. More so, that the Inspector-General of
Police had confirmed the readiness of the Police
to provide security for the election. Just last week,
the federal high court sitting in Sokoto declared
illegal and unconstitutional the involvement of
soldiers in election duties. That judgment is
binding on all authorities and persons in Nigeria-Femi Falana
This has been my argument and I'm glad I'm not the only person thinking in this line.

Says postponement of election orchestrated by PDP
Mohammed Aminu in Sokoto

Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, on Sunday called on the service chiefs and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. Suleiman Abba, to resign immediately for orchestrating the postponement of the February general elections.

Wamakko to Service Chiefs, IGP: Resign Now for Dereliction of Duties

Wamakko made the call following the postponement of the Presidential, National Assembly, governorship and state assembly elections to March 28 and April 11 for security reasons.

Speaking with newsmen in Sokoto, Wamakko averred that all the service chiefs and the IGP should resign now for failing to perform their duties.

He maintained that they had failed the nation and Nigerians and as such had no reason to remain in office.

"The service chiefs and IGP should, therefore, honourably resign as they could not guarantee the elections as their statutory and civic duties," Wamakko said.

The governor emphasised that the postponement of the election was uncalled for and not the required plausible solution to their phobia.

According to him, the elections should have gone ahead on February 14 to allow Nigerians to elect the candidates of their choice in line with their quest for change.
