I know argument is your forte. Believe whatever you want about dbanj.

Dre headphones are very popular worldwide, so they could do these special editions for celebrities it doesn't mean a signed endorsement. Stop trying to sound like you know what you're talking about. Dre's brand strategy might be to present customised gold headphones to nikky, it doesnt mean they would pay Nikki. and Nikki would gladly wear the headphones. Money need not change hands. It could be the same for dbanj. If It's a proper endorsement that translates to cash we would have known and hear about the value. Stop talking shyte again.

why would you hear about it? you are such a big fool. you always try to act like you know things when you know nothing.

Apple/dre are already popular they don't need to pay dbanj for publicity.

so glo wasn't popular when they paid enough celebrities to flag their brand? illiteracy is a disease.

Stop lying again, all gold headphones do not have dbanjs name on them... kilode gan

you are a bloody illiterate.
so that image in your link is gold? just because the seller say it's gold doesn't make it the gold version targeted for their african market. how do you manage to accomplish day to day activities with this level of your idiöcy? i really think you need an IQ booster.

that's d'banj's name written on the product. i read somewhere he asked beats by dre to put his name inside the headphones - and that they could have put the name anywhere he wanted on it.

You are actually scraping the barrel now. This is what happens when you spend all your life on NL, your ability to grasp basic things become a chore. The world is a global village true true but the subject of discourse was that dbanj would have publicised the deal or did we not know how much he was paid for Glo deal, didn't he call paparazzis? So, having a raving lunatic like Jona laughing someone sitting on cayenne pepper means there's a deal? I don't have time to be looking for how much he was paid for Glo but the information is in public domain.

Apple and Dr. Dre in their infinite knowledge thinks that poverty stricken africa would embrace a gold dr dre headphones with dbanjs name on it. Infact, they will buy it more than recharge card. they know the top 1% of the elite african population are stinkingly rich and if they can capture that, they would be in money. Nigeria is 160 million. 1% of that population is 1.6 million. that's enough for them to use d'banj as a vehicle to drive in the sales. africans that are rich are very rich - you wouldn't know about that, you stinking mosque rat!

I know you've googled and realised the 1st deal is out there, if you have a lit bit of common sense, you'll be able to know that the second deal would trump the first and we can as well make reasonable assumptions.

Even if he got paid, it was peanuts. Dbanj's asking price has reduced drastically cos he's no longer relevant in the music industry. That's why he's begging every upcoming artiste to feature in their song.

Lol. Coogar, don't waste ya time on these folks.

It's a well known fact that since Beats by Dre got acquired by Apple, it has established the craziest guerilla style of marketing out there...with endorsements by different celebrities. And they do pay them a lot of money for endorsements. Apart from artists, they have NFL players, Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton, on their books - despite how saturated it's in America. Heck, last season, Colin Kaepernick was fined $10,000 for wearing Beats to a press conference cos the NFL has a deal with Bose. Cam Newton also wears the headphones everywhere despite warnings from the NFL. Who would risk all that for free?

If they wear the headphones for free, why would Colin Kaepernick wear the headphones, just to cough out $10,000? Now, imagine how much they will pay someone to be an ambassador for the brand in a "Virgin" place like Africa. Apple has more than enough more to throw around. Isn't that the same company that paid Oprah Winfrey shitload of money just to endorse iPad?

Stop wasting your time with these folks. Who the hell promotes a brand for free? grin

Lol. I think the other poster who's antagonising you, is basically doing that cos it seems the both of you love going at it. grin I don't think he's serious about it. Anyway, I just checked his post history, and I saw that he alluded to Lebron James not getting paid for the endorsement, without citing the fact that Lebron owns minority shares in Beats - and he cashed-in $30 million when the company was sold to Apple (reference: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2094351-report-lebron-james-raked-in-30-million-in-beats-acquisition). It's basically similar to Carmelo Anthony's stake in 50cent's SMS headphones. Evidently, they don't need to get paid from endorsement, since they're minority owners.

Also, Justin Bieber gets royalties from "JustBeats" (his own version) of Beats by Dre. grin
