Sequel to the ugly trend of inordinate kidnapping of Rivers state doctors; within a period of about 10 days, 4 doctors were kidnapped, (two were shot before their release, one still in critical condition) another is still in kidnappers den passing through unimaginable and untold torture both physical, mental and emotional. Rivers state doctors, under the auspices of Nigerian Medical Association ,rising up to the devastating occasion staged a peaceful protest match to Rivers state government house, unyielding and defiant to the scorching sun and perceived intimidation by security details, The doctors continued until they met the amiable Rivers state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, where he addressed us personally promising to rise up to the occasion, and reassuring us. As a continuem he further rescheduled another meeting with the doctors for the next day, where he will address us, with better details......

I was meant to understand; that 1 of the Doctors that was recently kidnapped died in the kidnappers den; May his gentle soul rest in the bossom of the lord.
