Do you think that spiritual/religious leaders, pastors etc can really 'verify' whether someone is your 'ordained' husband or wife? I am a devout Christian, but this is something that has really played on my mind, just wanted people's opinions and/or experiences.

some people never make up their minds until their spiritual guru or mentor has vetted the prospective partner.
