Let us compare Nigerian used cars and other west African used cars
In addition to that, How do we differentiate between Tokunbos from Europe,US , Asia . . . .  and fairly used from other west African Countries?

I'd say the maintenance factor of Nigerian used cars is a killer.
A lot of Nigerians like nice cars, and spend good money buying them.
But amazingly, most will skimp on service schedules:

1) Taking the car to Mr Bodge-It-And-Scarper down the road, because he's cheap.
2) Miss out on regular servicing, just because the car still drives.
3) Fit wrong / sub-standard parts, because they're cheap.
4) Use the wrong fluids in the car - most common is brake fluid in power steering systems, due to ignorance.
5) Running the engine at high rpm, even when cold.
6) Driving the car hard on unmade roads.

The list is endless.
