The Presidential aspirations of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Muhammadu Buhari may be cut short as the unofficial figures coming in suggest that he has failed to garner 25% of the votes in the following states. 1. Imo 2. Abia 3. Anambra 4. Ebonyi 5. Rivers 6. Bayelsa 7. Delta 8. Benue 9. Enugu 10.Cross Rivers 11. Akwaibom 12. Edo.

If Buhari fails to make 25% in 2 more states, even if he secures the highest votes, he cannot win the election.

According to law, the candidate with the most votes is declared the winner in the first round, as long as he gains at least 25% of the votes in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states.

The ruling PDP is leading in Plateau, Taraba, Lagos, Ekiti, and Ondo states, while the races in Oyo, Kwara and Kogi states are to close to call.

Radio Nigeria, also reported that the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan is leading in 22 States.

INEC has yet to declare any official results.

You are a complete liar.there is no way buhari will not get 25% from rivers,edo,benue and some other places you mentioned.presently am in ibadan and I know how the result went.Buhari won galabtly in oyo state.likewise. Lagos,ogun and osun.Ekiti and ondo is what we are waiting to get correct figures.Forget about north west ans east even majority of north central.Inec result will be a blow to your face.

If he fails to get the 25% in 24 states, a rerun is called.

But it is not going there yet

GMB has won Osun already. I was an APO in Ede South. Though PDP got some valuable votes in the LGs around Ife, the stronghold of Omisore.
GMB lost in Ekiti buh had over 120,000 votes.
GMB has won Ondo already. PDP won the Ondo south senatorial district only(3senatorial districts in the state) with a reasonable margin thanks to Olusola Oke, Jimoh Ibrahim, Kingsley Kuku etc. The defection of Mimiko to PDP did NOT yield any result. He was beaten hands down even in his own town, Ondo.
Ondo Central and North senatorial districts voted overwhelmingly for APC. Don't be suprised if APC pulled close to 250thousand votes in Ondo state.
