Congratulations, President Muhammadu Buhari. by PapiWata: 6:22pm On Mar 31, 2015
"It ain't over until the fat lady sings", goes the old saying, and with the humble and statesmanlike congratulations issued just moments ago by outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan to his successor Retired General Buhari today, March 31st 2015 , it is safe to assume that the proverbial fat lady has indeed rendered her swan song for the curtain to fall on the Johnny B. Goode years, to make way for the commencement of Nigeria's "Buhari Years" for better or for worse.

For we armchair internet critics who did our level best to see Buhari lose again, the hour is now upon us to sheathe our poison pens and swords, in order to join hands with ALL tribes that comprise the amazingly resilient nation called Nigeria, so as to ensure that His Excellency President Buhari is accorded the respect he has finally earned after so many heroic and dogged political battles - Head of State, and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Congratulations Mr. President sir. You fought a good fight, and a long one, without flagging for even a moment, through it all.

May your tenure in office be marked by times of peace, prosperity, and optimism.
