What Jonathan Told Buhari On Phone by Nobody: 4:50am On Apr 03, 2015
A recording of the telephone call by President Goodluck Jonathan to Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) on March 31, congratulating him on his victory at the last Saturday’s presidential election hit the Internet on Thursday. The recording revealed what transpired between the two leaders.

President Jonathan had reportedly called Buhari hours before the official declaration of the presidential election results by the Independent National Electoral Commission that Buhari had won the March 28 presidential poll.

The audio of the conversation credited to one ENDS.ng @EveryNigerian was titled, “Historic congratulatory call from President Goodluck Jonathan to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on March 31, 2015.”

This gesture by President Jonathan had been praised in many quarters with Nigerians and world leaders hailing him for his demonstration of what they described as rare humility and spirit of sportsmanship.

Many said it was this gesture by Jonathan that put paid to the fear that violence might erupt across the country in the event that the result of the election was rejected by whoever was declared the loser by INEC.

According to the audio, the following conversation ensued between Jonathan and Buhari:

Jonathan’s aide: Your Excellency, Sir.

Buhari’s aide: Good evening.

Jonathan’s aide: Hope I’m speaking with General Buhari, sir.

Buhari’s aide: Yes.

Jonathan’s aide: Ok, President Goodluck Jonathan will like to speak with you, sir.

Buhari’s aide: Ok, ok, I’m connecting you, sir.

Jonathan: Your Excellency.

Buhari’s aide: Hold on …I’ll connect you, sir.

The phone rings for a moment.

Jonathan: Your Excellency.

Buhari’s aide: Hold on, sir.

Buhari: Your Excellency.

Jonathan: Your Excellency, how are you?

Buhari: I’m alright, thank you very much, Your Excellency.

Jonathan: (laughs) Congratulations.

Buhari: Thank you very much, your Excellency (laughs).

Jonathan: Yeah, so how are things?

Buhari: (laughs) Well…

Jonathan: So, you’d find time to come one of these days so that we can sort out how to plan the transition period.

Buhari: Thank you very much, your Excellency.

Jonathan: Congratulations.

Buhari: Thank you.

Jonathan: Ok.

Buhari: My respect, Your Excellency

BBC journalist:
"Mr. President, there is an election coming,
can you win it?

GEJ: I will surely win it.

BBC journalist: (sarcastically)You will surely win it?

GEJ: Yes

BBC journalist: What are you basing that on?

GEJ: Of course, the support base. PDP, my party is still
the strongest party. There is no polling unit where you will
go and cast your vote that you do not have PDP memebers. No other party
has that structure.

Good luck to Goodluck Jonathan. Thank you for your service.

Humility can never be bought with money......Jonathan's humility remains matchless in Ngeria's and even Africa's politicosphere for this rare feat he displayed, his political stature be it Nationally and Internationally had just increased tremendously without any friction. In trying to shame this humble man with humble background, his detractors had just succeeded in embossing his name perenially in the sand of time! Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, may your enemies be put to shame forever.

The fear of unknown made Jonathan accepted jare. It is not that easy. But the acceptance results will go a long way for him as well as his career.
Besides I give kudos to abdusalami, he was the real brain behind all what was happening in camera. If it was pdp leadership that was with Jonathan before the winner was announced , they would have given him bad advice and likely set the country on fire. So they were caught unawares.
Anyway, good for Jonathan's career. He will soon be respected world wide and be given many important roles to play.

APC – 15,424,921
1+5+4+2+4+9+2+1=28
PDP – 12,853,162
1+2+8+5+3+1+6+2=28
Date of Election = March 28
Lets do some Further mathematics from Analysis
above
APC = 15424921 votes
PDP = 12853162 votes
=> APC-PDP =15424921-12853162
=2571759
=> 2+5+7+1+7+5+9= 36
how many states do we have in nija?
Then multiply two
terms to the above figure and that's GMB's
current
age... 36 x 2 =72
GMB The 4th President in the 4th Republic was
declared on 4th
Month After contesting for the 4th Time
