op, buhari simply means he will not accept the privatization of NEPA to PHCN which was done by jonathan's administration. I believe he wants the power distribution company to be run by government again.

A lot of fake "privatization" took place that must be reversed. NEPA/PHCN happened to be one. It was privatized, yet government still channeling billions of naira into it. Jonathan gave 18 billion Naira to same crooks who bought PHCN recently.

Yes, the PLC has been the very bad part of PHCN, when Prof Barth Nnaji was the head as a minister, the electricity was fairly better but when he was kicked out and the PLC people took over, everything went bad.

No source. And op doesn't have sense enough to understand what he meant. PHCN is going back to the days it was NEPA.

I hope it isn't true.
When some people said Buhari will take us backward, people scorned them.
Power might no be stable yet, but the distribution companies are doing their work of distribution better than any government owned agency can do. Better customer service, faster response to requests and all that.
I can't imagine handing distribution back to NEPA or whatever

Buhari should jst be careful so he does not mess things up. Concentrate on building refineries which he promised and power plants. Any attempt to go back and spoil the already concluded privatisation will cause trouble and destroy investors confidence in Nigeria.

Any attempt to reverse or, in any way stall, the liberization and privatization of the Power sector, and we are FINISHED....

I pray that APC madness does not extend to such length

Government does not have business in doing business. Buhari and co should know better that government world over does not run profitable business. I think he should deregulate the power sector and makes it possible for all States to generate and distribute power without federal government intervention. Reversing to old NEPA is nothing but failure.
