Let's look at it from this angle.

A gentleman comments on the price of your BMW, saying he saw one with less than 46,000km for less than 10,000 pounds.
Then you come up and say "The pounds is only used in the UK, In the UK, they mostly use right hand drive (RHD). So, somehow, u're speaking against urself!" I find that so funny. The guy just assumed that you would know that 10,000 pounds converted to Euro is not up to 17,000 Euro.
