There have been citizen reports that Babajide Obanikoro, son of Musiliu Obanikoro and House of Assembly candidate was caught passing out cash to citizens at polling units in Eti-Osa, one of Lagos’s 774 local government. After much contention from the electorate, Obanikoro was seen being escorted by policemen to the local station. Obanikoro is hoping to represent the Eti-Osa Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly as a member of the People’s Democratic Party. He ran for the same seat in 2011 and lost.
