Help Me Sort This Out Pls by Wendy80(f): 3:49pm On Apr 16, 2015
Hello E-family,
I need you guys to help me with this issue cos I've been disturbed for some days now.‎
‎Last week Tuesday my colleague came to work looking so happy, gisting us about this guy she's bn seeing for some time now, that he's getting serious and we were all happy for her.
On Monday this week, she came again gushing about her trip to Obudu last weekend with her guy‎. During lunch break she showed us some lovely pics they took and I was so shocked to see that the 'Guy' is actually someone I know, my friend's husband(married with 2kids).
While others were like 'aww u look good 2geda' 'he's so cute' 'I'm happy for you' and all, I was short ‎of words.
I told my hubby what happened and asked what I should do. He first had a good laugh and asked if I want to break a home‎, that I need to be careful cos if I tell my friend and she doesn't handle it well friendship is destroyed and my colleague will be offended if she discover her 'guy' is known to me and I hid the information.
Now my Dearies, what do I do?
Married Men, what will you advice‎ ur wife in this situation?
Singles like my colleague what do you expect of me Pls?‎
Wives, if you were in my shoes what will you do?‎

Sorry for the typos, not easy typing with phone while @ work jare.‎

Tell your friend the truth.
Imagine you are the "guy's" wife and your hubby is frolicking round town.

Hmmm my dear, and if I tell her she could accuse me of same thing. If she is wise she will find traces of a married man in him. And how are we so sure she doesn't know he is married and playing along in the game.

I can't say if she knows he's married. She doesn't look to me like someone who will willingly date a married man but I won't vouch for her though cos we no de know person finish.

From experience being the good person in cases like this has a way of coming back to bite you in the ass. If you decide to not let it slide tho, eliminate any link to you...

What would I do?

If I'm close/ real buddy with the colleague, I will draw her aside alone and tell her what I know. However, I will still let her know that the decision to go on or not with the affair is her call and not my business.

I will NEVER tell any other soul aftetwards,. I will enter MYOB mode.

I appreciate your contributions. Just b4 I left the office this evening, I saw clearing her desk hurriedly saying her 'Baby' is coming for her. 20mins later I saw 'him' driving away with her. Its no longer picture oh, I saw him live.
I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't know where I work or has he forgotten or just doesn't care undecided
Na wa oh

I would suggest you get the new sim and send a message to your colleague like has already been suggested. Give her the name of the man's wife and probably the kids names too. If she honestly didnt know the man was married she would ask him but if she knew.... well God save the man's wife. undecided

Wendy80, you're not breaking a home. That home is already inferno-ed.

Like someone advised a woman married to a 50year old agbaya, your friend needs to get her finances in order just in case they do joint account. Last time I remembered on baba oyo's thread, obudu is a not very cheap place. The dude is spending money and out of control. Who no like better thing?

This is a clean cut fact you witnessed before your eyes and not an hearsay. Call up your friend and tell her what's up. That's what I will do for my friend and expect same too.

Gosh this is ridiculously shameful.

I think it's better u talk to your colleague first. Let her know he's married. If she's aware he's married and doesn't care then u might have to tell ur friend

If it were me I'd talk to the cheating man first to try to understand what's going on and possibly stop him. If that fails I'd talk to my colleague. Talking to my friend would only be the last resort if I find out the cheating partners don't want to change their ways.
