Hey Nairalanders! Quite nice an idea Nairaland is. And congratulations ~ 50000 members and still counting.

So wanted to know, what has Nairaland done for you? Have you made new friends, gotten much needed information, gotten help or have you just had fun? Would love to hear from you.

Well, one thing about the forum is that it keeps you busy,

there's no dull moment on Nairaland

sadly less than 1% are presently active members!

And those are the people that make it fun

I've had fun and learnt quite a handful of stuffs.

I have had a lot of fun on nairaland, and met some really cool people.

My guess would be about 500 active members plus those who only registered to check job listings!

Thatz right Goodguy, but Growth is general increase in width, shape and size so when we say nairaland is growing, it is growing in both active and inactive members

There is a difference between Growth of the Forum, and Increase in forum population size. I think you just defined the latter.

Hi,

Am new but i saw something to talk about. Actually it is sweet and encouraging to have 50,000 members but what one should really be happy and talking about is not how far but how well. What individuals achieved in money wise from other members makes the day. If members sees good and great new ideas that can improve their joy, knowlegde, comfort and most of all the true way of making money online to take care of livelihood, then one will be grateful and happier all daylong.

This wll act as a bait to enable everyone to come back so often and that will record greater achievement. Where you see figures and not actual actions and activeness, there will be nothing to show for it. For instant, if you have 100,000 members as figures, and in average 5000 are active on board the forum all the time, would you say you are progressing? The answer is emphactically NO! While, because the counting is on figure and not on action( activeness of members achieving purposful results).

Based on my points so far, i want to agree that how well with 10,000 members present everytime and reading posts and contributing and at the same time bringing testimonies of grater successful rersults in business, education, job and even creativities is the right edge over multitude of 100,000 figures doing nothing to orientiate individual comfort and upliftment; rather this qualifies to be the graveyard.

Let make great contributive posts that will solve much problems of individuals and not just talking of love affairs of nothing like kids instead of adults that required strong meat for utmost growth. Growth this time should be well understood as adult greatness is concerned. I think i am more attracted when you talk about endless money riches because, riches is the dimenssion of human satisfaction as far as earth life is concern.

More gribs to your elbows as we celebrate 50,000 members but let me say categorically that active members are that which we all needed and not mere figures. Not how far but how well that makes the difference!
