Several international students now choose Poland as their study abroad country because of the superb quality of higher education in the country coupled with the low living cost. Tuition fees are also low and affordable for programs taught in English language. So if you cannot study in the US, UK and Australia due to the high tuition fees, now’s the time to think Poland. Polish universities offer lots of programs in English language in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Humanities, Sciences etc. Today, I will be providing a comprehensive list of these low tuition universities in Poland. But before I do that, lets review the admissions requirements as well as the cost of living, available scholarships, work and study process and how to apply for admission.

Admission requirements
International applicants will be expected to meet the minimum admission requirements to gain admission into a top flight Polish university. For an undergraduate admission, a minimum of a high school or secondary school certificate with average/above average grades in key subjects will be crucial to getting admitted. Candidates who don’t speak English as a first language would need to prove their proficiency in the language by submitting a standardized test scores.
For a postgraduate program, applicants must have a minimum entry requirement of a bachelor’s degree with a good grade (minimum of second class for a master’s program). In addition, the applicant must provide a long side his application a strong motivation letter showing his core motivations, educational background and as achievements etc. Please contact the schools directly and find out find out specific entry requirements for your program as different programs have different entry requirements.

Cost of living
The cost of living in Poland is actually one of the lowest in the European continent. With just about €250 to €400, an interna student can take care of his living expenses like feeding, buying books, traveling around town, paying for accommodation etc. Please note that this amount is just an estimation and may vary depending on an international student’s spending spree.
Scholarships
Please note that there are a very limited number of scholarships available for international students desiring to study in Poland. They include the following; ERASMUS, Scholarships within bilateral agreement, Visegrad scholarship program, Fulbright program, scholarships for students from developing countries etc
