Some Camry 2002-2004 vehicle with four cylinder engine (2AZ-FE) may indicate MIL ON condition with DTC P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1 ) in the PCM Also for this same vehicle Some customer complain of excessive sulphur dioxide odour under the following condition : -Stop and go driving -Heavy acceleration Kindly note that this is a manufacturer error and Toyota TSB fix has been published for it FIX: 1.0 The ECU firmware is to be updated from to current calibration ID 33337000 to 33337100 2.0 Complete replacement of the whole Catalytic converter with to part no 25051-0H011 |
