The permanet sec (Sheni) should be dismissed immediately. The man has been paid to always embarrass the govt of Gej. Cant you see Morroco phone saga and now SA Ambassador recall. The man is not fit for the post. Is he an Island? Does he not have a boss whom he takes instruction from?

That man must have been an overzealous person or that they are not telling us the full story. From the little I know, I do not think a P.S can do a thing of such magnitude without the knowledge of the minister of foreign affairs. I just hope that man is not punished unjustly, because being a P.S is not a small joke. That is a career position( even though you still have to be part of the ruling govt) but being a P.S is quite diferent from being a minister. In getting to that position, he probably would have spent not less than 25 years in the civil service.

How on earth was it possible for a P.S who should be a seasoned career civil servant at the zenith of his career, who should be well grounded in all laws, norms, traditions, rules, ethos etc of the ministry, how could he unilaterally recall an ambassador without the consent of the president and that of the minister?

Somebody must be the ''shit'' career!
