Ifeanyi Ubah, leader of ‎the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), wept profusely on Thursday over President Goodluck Jonathan’s loss in the March 28 election.

He was at the new banquet hall of the presidential villa for the submission of the report of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation (PPCO) to Jonathan .

After Jonathan’s address, which drew a thunderous applause and standing ovation, Ubah could not contain his emotions as he broke down in tears.

His TAN group claimed to have collected 12 million signatures asking Jonathan to run in the election – after travelling to all the states of the federation.

He started sweating when PDP chieftains started speaking on the party’s loss, and then burst into tears.

Party members took turns to console him but he had to excuse himself out of the hall when all attention was focused on him.

His oil marketing company, Capital Oil, was one of the firms taken over by the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) over its N60 billion indebtedness.

Capital Oil was later returned to him shortly before Jonathan declared his intention to run for a second term in November 2014 after AMCON had offset most of the debts.

Meanwhile, Rufai Alkali, a professor and political adviser to the president, has confessed that some PDP members ended up in the hospital after lost the elections.

He commended Jonathan ‎for “restoring honour” to the party with his “magnanimity in defeat”.

Alkali said: “We all worked hard, we were devastated with when we lost. We asked ourselves what have we done wrong? Did we shy away from our responsibility and assignment?

“Some of us had to switch off our phones. Some landed in hospitals when you conceded defeat.

“We were very sad but for the first time we have a leader who sacrificed his ambition for the glory of Nigeria.‎ The temperature then went down.

“Those who were praying for the division of this country were disappointed. INEC got all the money they needed and there was no interference.

“I wanted to summarise our bitterness, disappointment and emotions but we are also appreciative of God’s mercy.”

The outcome of the elections just dawned on him?
He's not bitter about GEJs loss, he's seriously thinking of his company's debt.
For those that had to be rushed to the hospital, I have nothing to tell them.

This one has a lot of trouble ahead of him, so he has every reason to cry over the loss of his protector.
When you have banks that will soon b coming to sell off every item u have down to the shoe u are wearing, then a soon to be effective working efcc ready to shift your ass into jail for kerosene scam and bank fraud, you would have every reason to cry like a woman in labor.

Am still wondering why a sane human that has been in Nigeria over these past years should cry over PDP's defeat after their 16 years of misrule. That man indeed is an enemy of Nigeria. GEJ with his team raped our economy for 6 years causing monumental damage. And then the people cried out to the Lord and the Lord sent His Words through His servants to GEJ to just step aside but he refused to haken and then tried to fight back. Today, some gullible people are seeing him as their hero for accepting defeat. Hero my foot. For those of you trying to undermine Buhari, let me quickly remind you that "we have crossed it all." Never again shall this country witness a corrupt and inefficient government. Welcome to a new Nigeria my people.

He should buy enough handkerchiefs to wipe his tears. He will shed more tears when the probe on kerosene subsidy begins.

They just start. Billions of investments(campaign funds) lost with no readily available avenue of recouping it. grin

Those that impoverished and drained nigerians (PDP) shall cry.

The book of lamentations chapter May verse 29 says, the lamentations of the evil ones has just begun grin

During the Grand TAN Rally in Abuja, Pius Anyim and Ifeanyi Ubah alleged that 20million signatures from Nigerians were gotten.

How come Jonathan got less than that amount despite the amount he spent on electioneering campaign?

I think the number one person that defrauded Jonathan is Ifeanyi Ubah. He played on the intelligence of Jonathan and he fell for it. It could be alleged that Jonathan wouldn't have declared for second term of not for the tacit backing of people like Ubah, Arthur Eze, Pius Anyim, Diezzani, etc

Thank God Jonathan lost. This scam artist Uba would have become a minister after scamming Jonathan with his 12million phantom signatures.

I hope Ifeayi Ubah gets what's coming to him.

PDP should stop decieving itself by calling Jonathan an hero.Hero my foot. They did all that was in their power to rigg the elections so they should just give the sycophancy a rest.

Anyway, we are so thankful to God for saving from the killer party's vicous grip.

Whatever sympathy that people have for GEJ or PDP will vanish after the new administration comes in unearth all the scams and embezzlement going on. People will be shocked to their bone marrows.
