$6.95
Overview:
BlueHost has been in business since 1996. They currently host over 140,000 websites. We found that BlueHost offers the absolute best value for web hosting available today. They have the best combination of features, reliability, speed, and price, as well as the ability to consistently maintain the best customer service in the industry. They also allow you to host 6 domains with 1 account! You can also get more if neccessary. They offer 2500 email accounts, extremely generous storage and bandwidth allowance, free setup, free domain for life, tons of free scripts and bonuses, they accept Paypal, and offer a 30-day money back guarantee.

Bluehost appears to be one of the few companies who advertise their strong focus and commitment to customer service while actually adhering to it. Bluehost customers receive 24/7 phone support as well as chat and email support. They appear to be well staffed and well trained. All of our support requests (whether via phone, chat, or email) have been promply replied to from a knowledgeable technician without any problems. We put Bluehost to the test by bombarding them over and over with basic to complex technical questions from "how many domains do you support" to "How do I setup 301 redirection in my .htaccess file". They were constantly quick to respond and helpful. They also offer live chat, an online trouble ticket system, and knowledgebase.

Account Management/Control Panel:
Bluehost uses cPanel, perhaps the most popular web hosting control panel around today. cPanel provides access to support, e-mail & FTP account management, usage statistic information, database creation and management, server configuration settings, amongst others. You can see a screenshot below.

This seems like a cut and paste job. Am I right? That's a violation of copyright laws my brother. Why not write your own reviews of the web hosts you've tried?

iPowerWeb
$3.95/month

Overview:
iPowerWeb is probably larger web hosting service. They currently have over 300,000 active customers worldwide. While this is a testament to their excellent hosting services, supporting this many customers can be extrememly difficult and if you need to contact their customer service you may experience long hold times. On the plus side, iPowerWeb offers huge amounts of web space and bandwidth allowance at a competitive price. If you are looking for a dedicated hosting plan, we found iPowerWeb to be the best option available due to features, server quality, bandwidth allowance, value, and price. For more information regarding dedicated hosting, please click here.

Customer Support:
Although iPowerWeb offers 24/7 toll free support, we have found ourselves waiting on hold a few times when attempting to contact them. Being that they have over 300,000 customers worldwide, this is understandable. They also have live chat, which from our tests, was a bit slow, but was acceptable and they were knowledgeable. They also offer traditional email support.

Account Management/Control Panel:
iPowerWeb uses vDeck for their control panel. vDeck builds upon traditional control panel software adding the essential eBusiness capabilities such as a website builder, marketing solutions, interactive scripts, e-Commerce, and web mail. vDeck was originally developed by iPowerWeb, but other web hosting providers, including StartLogic, are adopting it's use as their control panel of choice.

Data Center:
iPowerWeb's data center is located in Phoenix, Arizona and uses AT&T’s, Global Crossing and Cable & Wireless' OC48 / OC192 Global IP backbones. Their Network Operations Center (NOC) are monitored 24/7. They employ security guards and closed circuit television for security. They have a 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Bonus Tools / Free Extras:
Agora Shopping Cart, OS Commerce, PayPal Shopping Cart, Guestbook, Bulletin Board, PHP Nuke, Chat, Blogger, Promotion Tools, $75 advertising credit, and search engine submitter amongst others.

Summary:
Since it's inception, iPowerWeb has been one of the largest growing web hosting providers in the world. If web storage space and bandwidth allowance are your single most concern, iPowerWeb may be for you.
# High storage allowance
# High transfer allowance
# State of the art data center
# 24/7 phone support
# Daily server backups
# Relatively long customer support hold times
# Only allow 1 domain name

midPhase

$7.95/month

Overview:
midPhase is a relatively new company (founded in May, 2003), but they are also one of the fastest growing due to their commitment to customer support, high performance hosting, and competitve pricing. One unique thing about midPhase is that they have a special plan available (their Pro-PHASE plan) which allows you to host unlimited domains as well as receive unlimited bandwidth usage! This plan is a few dollars more per month than their standard plan, however. They also offer a Windows hosting plan.

Customer Support:
midPhase offers 24/7 phone support, e-mail support, knowledgebase, and an online support forum. Their telephone support appeared well trained and staffed. Most of our midPhase support e-mails were responded to within 30 minutes with accurate and helpful responses.

Account Management/Control Panel:
midPhase's Control Center is a customized control panel based on cPanel, perhaps the most popular web hosting control panel around today. The midPhase Control Center provides access to support, e-mail & FTP account management, usage statistic information, database creation and management, server configuration settings, amongst others. You can see a screenshot below.

Data Center:

The midPhase data center utilizes the Equinix IBX Center in Chicago, Illinois. The Equinix IBX datacenter is a multi-million dollar facility which provides access to every major Tier 1 network and most Tier 2 networks on the internet. They utilize many types of redundancy and backup power as well as state-of-the-art security methods to protect the integrity of the facility.

Bonus Tools / Free Extras:
Agora Shopping Cart, OS Commerce, PayPal Shopping Cart, Unlimited E-mail, Unmetered Bandwidth, Free Domain 4 Life, Free Site Design Software, amongst others.

5. Dot5 Hosting Review:
$3.95/month

Customer Support:
Their customer support is relatively slow compared to most of the other hosting providers that we've reviewed.

Account Management/Control Panel:
Dot5 Hosting uses vDeck for their control panel. vDeck builds upon traditional control panel software adding the essential eBusiness capabilities such as a website builder, marketing solutions, interactive scripts, e-Commerce, and web mail. vDeck was originally developed by iPowerWeb, but other web hosting providers, including StartLogic, are adopting it's use as their control panel of choice.

Dot5 uses iPowerWeb's data center. Please see our iPowerWeb review for information on their data center.

Bonus Tools / Free Extras:

Chat, PHP Nuke, Bulletin Board, Guestbook, OSCommerce shopping cart, Agora Shopping cart. Paypal Shopping cart.

6.Lunarpages Review:
$6.95/month

Overview:
Lunarpages was founded in the summer of 2000 when Add2Net Corporation expanded its hosting offerings to include shared hosting. LunarPages offers two shared plans as well as a dedicated hosting plan. The shared plans let you host 1 domain, and 4 domains respectively. These are decent plans, but for the price, we feel there are better options available. On the plus side, Lunarpages is one of the few web hosts to offer unlimited mySQL databases.

Customer Support:
Lunarpages does not offer 24/7 phone support. Their tech support lines are open Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5 PM (PST) and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM (PST). While this may be acceptable for most people, sometimes immediate support and answers are neccessary. They do, however, offer 24/7 email support and live support forum.

Account Management/Control Panel:
Lunarpages uses cPanel, perhaps the most popular web hosting control panel around today. cPanel provides access to support, e-mail & FTP account management, usage statistic information, database creation and management, server configuration settings, amongst others. You can see a screenshot below.

Data Center
:
The Lunarpages 2,000 Mbit fiber network is connected directly to over 100 carriers such as Mzima Networks, NTT/Verio, Level3, AT&T, SBC, Microsoft/MSN, AOL/TimeWarner and Cable & Wireless. They use daily tape backup and a power generator. Their servers are monitored 24/7/365.

Bonus Tools / Free Extras:

Like most other web hosting companies, lunarpages offers many freebie scripts and tools such as: blog, forum, photo gallery and fantastico script library. eCommerce capabilites include osCommerce Shopping Cart, Cube Cart Shopping Cart and Zen Cart Shopping Cart.

Apollo Hosting uses 'Plesk Reloaded' control panel. Re: Top 10 Hosting Reviews by ebonyking: 1:30am On Jun 06, 2010
Hey guys,

I am looking forward to buying a reseller hosting package on
which I hope to host my sites as that of my clients.

But I must confess that I am really confused about which
host to used.

I have used sultanhost.com before but they pretty messed
me up. All my efforts to get them to fix the problem were not
successful

So I am considering moving over to http://www.hostgator.com
or http://www.godaddy.com but I am a tight budget and will
want to have your inputs about the reseller packages offered
by the two sites or any other site that may be cheaper and yet
reliable.
