It has been revealed that Ciara’s new album ‘Jackie’ will likely flop. The album, which is her sixth studio was released (on Monday) to rave reviews from music critics, but sadly the album is likely to be a commercial disaster just like its predecessors, ‘Ciara (album)’ and ‘Basic Instinct’
According to the ever reliable, the album is will sell between 18,000 and 22,000 copies.

While we are sad that the album is not selling as we wanted, it is still quality over numbers for us. For us, Ciara delivered with this album and so we don’t care about numbers at all. Jackie is one of the best R&B records we’ve heard in this decade.

However, we have to criticize Cici for taking too long to promote such a solid album. I don’t know why she only promoted the album on the day after its release. Promotion for Jackie has been really poor so I was kinda not surprise that it flopped.
