I said it. I saw this coming. Even if they come out to deny this report, it's as obvious as Buhari going for 2nd term that the factions in PDP so far cannot make the party be as strong as it should. They can only merge with APGA and some other mushroom parties. PDP is dead! |

shammah1: PDP did not lose because of Muazu. PDP lost because they failed to make alliances properly, they had governors like Susie of Benue who clearly were not performing.....and they did not handle the Security and Economic issues of the country properly. And they allowed the nPDP to defect to APC...when they should have placated them pronto (if it was OBJ....OBJ would have promptly made concessions.). PDP needs to go back and outperform APC in the states it controls. Simples. 1 Like |

Yes, a new party is the best way forward for these govs to rid themselves of PDP chairman Mu'azu. Mu'azu like Buhari are champions of sharia criminal laws. That's why Mu'azu worked for Buhari to become president. Muazu was one of the earliest governors in the north to adopt unconstitutional sharia criminal codes. Buhari also charged Muslims to ensure that sharia criminal codes are implemented all over Nigeria - like Mua'zu, like Buhari, two of a sort. APC campaigners then would allege that PDP leader was an Islamist Sharia man, Muazu - a possible BH sympathizer? In the just ended UK election, voters voted according to interests of the units that make up UK. I pity this people. They don't know d harm they all did to PDP, their political careers and themselves by allowing GEJ to recontest. This is the scenario that would play out:If GMB performs half as we believe he will with his personal credentials intact, he wins a 2nd term.In 2023,APC may likely choose an Ibo man with also formidable integrity credentials (because that would be d new benchmark for leadership) as GMB, he is forced and guided carefully to perform by d party and even surpasses GMB in performance (though I doubt if anyone after him ever will).Power returns to the North again,maybe north central,back to the south and so on. So,unless d PDP goes to all those shrines they have been frequenting previously, to get an APC leader that would be as disastrous as GEJ, if its even remotely possible, then its not likely PDP or whichever new party their members form,will ever smell power again in the lifetime of these set that destroyed Nigeria. 1 Like |
