Am yet to figure out the essence of this trek. If u ask Nigerians to do run or walk to raise awareness foR a cause now, they sit at home. Now the media is awash with treks from all corners of the country. Govt needs to provide jobs to stop solidarity normadic treks. My own 2cents though.

These "trekking" don't make sense to a normally sane person anymore. Does it make sense to you? I mean I know it does in some societies, but it doesn't make much meaning down here . I think what would make more sense is to do some amount of community service like helping to clean our roads (some major streets are practically dump sites), do an event at a local school to educate youths on the dangers of corruption and bad leadership or volunteer to help elderly persons in the neighborhood then call journalists see what you are doing to identify with a particular leader. That will really make sense.
