What if you leave ur area?
It doesn't matter where you are as it keeps fluctuating, but it mostly remains constant at 24kobo per second. at night from 7pm to 10pm.

The New Easylife 4.0 Limited Edition offers 11k/Sec to call any network in Nigeria, and 20k/sec to 4 international destinations (UK landlines, US, China, India).

Also, there is a N5 daily access fee which will be triggered by the 1st voice call of the day.

To migrate dial *420*1#

Confirm package by dialing *244*3#

I think Glo Gbam is more better 5 naira fee with 5mb.

Hotdiamond:

They said the 5 Naira will be triggered by the first voice call of the day. Meaning That if you don't make any calls your money will be intact.
I may be wrong about this.
But it's not like that. The access fee is taken by 00.00 o'clock.

Makes sense. Been on the tariff for a while now and didn't even know about this.
You couldn't have been on this tariff for a while now, it was only introduced on 14th of May 2015.

no. Not true.. This is day 2 since I opt into the plan. My N5 was not deducted at 00.00 o'clock but was deducted when I made my first call few hours back.

no, you're getting it all wrong. If you don't make calls for a day, no access fee will be charged. It is only when you make a call that a 5 naira access fee will be charged at the first second of the day. It's what I'm using now and I am ok with it.

It is far better than 15 kobo per second at 40 kobo after the first minute which most of the service providers have as their cheapest call tariff
Thanks for the info. Now l can start using my etisalat line.

Na this access fee dey taya me for etisalat. So if I don't want to call anyone, I must pay N5 access fee? Don't they use their head at all knowing fully Well that demand for their services is elastic. let's watch and see the output

...Much as there's no controversy that etisalat has best internet service in Nigeria so also they are worst interms of voice call rate aswel.. None of their call rate can be described as fair compare to other network

Na so they talk before, I rush go buy line. At a time I had about 2 lines of every available network because I was looking for cheap network. I have learnt my lessons, I'm not gonna leave MTN for the time being. If they like, let their call be free to any network or give everybody free 20GB each month, I won't leave my MTN.
then u keep remaining their constant maga

It matters the area you initial your calls. Some area will be low while some will be high. Probably your area doesn't use the network that much between the hours of 7p.m to 10pm
