This is a call from a first timer.
I have 8 point of lay turkeys and 3 males in stock which l have kept for over 6 months.
They started mating few days ago, after we observed and applied dosage of Lasota.
This morning, one of them has laid an egg which means that we expect same from others.
The question l want ask is: is there a special way of keeping their eggs as we accumulate them till when they would be ready for hatchery?
Grateful for your candid advice.

the maximum time u can keep there eggs b4 taking them to hatchery is 7days, anything outside that those eggs will nt hatch. Ensure there mating is real, if nt those eggs will nt be fertile n if they r nt fertile they ca nt hatch as well.

hybrid turkeys are cross breed of turkeys between foreign and local breed. there is no one that is not good for free range but hybrid is more preferable for free range. If there medication are sound you will not experience any problem.
