The syllabus is grouped in to different percentage,for example in PM,30% is apportioned to Decision making.
What that means is that decision making has 30% chance of coming out in the question.......
Planning and control has has 20% in the syllabus.
Performance measurement has 20% too.
Again, try to know the salient issues of any topic that you study.If you pick Budgeting for example,You will need to know how to compute Principal budget(sales budget),production budget,material usage budget,purchase budget and labour budget both in unit and in currency..
When you pick ABC,know your cost drivers,how do you compute cost per unit of cost driver?,how do you compute your full production cost using ABC and Traditional costing method? Understand the link between the two methods.... The list goes on and on for other topic in PM

Hello everyone, am a graduate of microbiology from a University , I just started another degree in economics from 200level with the intention of running Ican program immediately after so as to be able to join from the skilled level. But has it is now, Assu and covid 19 is not making resumption feasible. From my findings, I heard that there is a November diet, please I'm in need of a very sincere advise;
Do you think with my science background I can handle all papers at once?, or is there rather a way I can hand pick the papers that will be easy for me to pass?, I mean, probably there are some papers that are prerequisites to another within the same level. Thank you

Hi Jumai, you will have to start from Foundation with your science background and not Skills level, and even with B. Sc Economics.

Preparation is key. How well you prepare will determine if you can pass all in one seating. I will advise you to use your degree in Microbiology and enroll from foundation level. The knowledge you gain from foundation will help you a lot in skill level. Ensure you attend a tuition center and do both ICAN and your degree in Economics concurrently.

You are in 200 level. It doesn't make any sense waiting for at least 3 years before starting ICAN when you can start now and get to professionals or even become chartered within that same time frame.
