This capital oil guy could be selling poorly refined fuel from the creeks and Nigerians are buying and hailing him without thinking. He even crashed the price of fuel. Okay ooo! We go soon hear.

in as much as I condemn any oppressive tendencies , I would always encourage fuel supply should be of priority to Hospitals, security etc, that should be the order...

I have always said it that the way we use the military at the slightest whim in Nigeria, they would soon reach the same level of disrespect we have for the police.

WE MUST REJECT IMPUNITY....!!!! THE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS ACT ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO SO BECAUSE NO ONE HAS DARED TO CHALLENGE THEM.

Did u just say someone should not blame Jonathan for this??

I have two reasons why Jonathan should be blamed and they are;

1. If there had been enough fuel, the army wount troop out to the filling station 'in anger'. Thereby, no citizen would be punished 'unjustly'.

2. The army has been politicized and the corruption in the country has hit them too. If not for corruption, the army wouldnt punish or maltreat ordinary citizen. To further buttress my point, i will tell you two cases that shows that the army has been hit with corruption.
(i) The case of the Ekiti Governorship last year election where the army were used to carry out the rigging process.
(ii) The case of the army claiming that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari's certificate is NOT with them (WHICH THEY LATER PRODUCED when he was announced the winner of the recently concluded Presidential election).

Thanks.

though what the soldiers did was not right but there is nothing you could have done in that situation, unless you're ready to spend a week in guardroom and nothing will happen! Even your state governor can do nought. We soldiers are not susceptible to empty threats.

The military must always be different. While Nigerians trooped into a petrol station in Lagos with gallons/kegs in search of fuel, Nigerian soldiers rolled in 'Gangnam style' -carrying big DRUMS to purchase the scarce commodity. The soldiers were seen at the Ojodu Berger outlet of Capital Oil, intimidating those that stood in their way.

Meanwhile, two Lagosians were unfortunate after they provoked some soldiers in one of the fuel stations in the state. The soldiers who had been frustrated due to the fuel scarcity took out their anger on the two -as they engaged them in a punishment there and then (laying under the sun for hours).
