He was definitely one of Nigeria's best. A rare mix of humility, selflessness, and intelligence. He will be sorely missed.

He would be remembered for the following:
1. Stealing is not corruption.
2. The Goat and the Yam analogy.
3. Fuel subsidy scam.
4. Cluelessness on how to govern a nation.
5. Ogogoro drunken shaolin master.
6. $20billion missing. America still didn't know.
7. Release of a serial assassin (Mustapha) to garner sympathy votes from the north
8. Presidential pardon for an international criminal (DSP)
9. Spending over N1MM on food per day.
10. Chibok girls and his nonchalant attitude in rescuing them.
11. Kneeling before every spiritual leader for endorsement.
12. Open letters season.
13. Sack and hire season
14. Immigration job scam.
15. YouWin scam
16. Revitalization of the agricultural sector yet food no cheap.
17. Using the NPF to intimidate a sitting governor. Case of the rivers state governor.
18. Husband of the There-is-God-o crooner
19. He set up the highest number of committees yet no substantial result.
20. Pls add yours here.

Congrats GMB & PYO. I see a better Nigeria

GEJ'S Goverment is the worst we've ever had, he's just too weak to head our great nation Nigeria, him and Iweala should be probed, na God know the numbers of Private Jets and yatchs wey him don buy with Nigeria fund, thank God he's out sha, now we can breath in fresh air, air of Peace, Air of a better Nigeria. Anyway, You all should check out this mobile phone store http://pointekonline.com/mobile-phones-ikeja-lagos-nigeria Their phones are of High Quality, they buy directly from the manufacturers and sell at a highly discounted price.

We'll have to check his marks in the following areas on his last day as president:
Security - <5/10
Economy - <5/10
Power- <5/10
Health-<5/10
Education <5/10
Transportation <5/10
Sports development <5/10
International perception <5/10
Tourism <5/10

Finally, are most people better off today than the day Jonathan came to power? I doubt!!

Except someone can inform me otherwise, the Jonathan years were full of misplaced priorities, massive underachievement, corruption galore. Unfortunately, any good accomplishment within his years is outweighed by the dreadful.

His was 5 years of wastes, reversing all the little gains of past administrations especially that of Obasanjo. With Jonathan, Nigeria was in a reverse gear. Thank God change is here. He will not be missed.

Ymodulus:
He left a bad legacy for future leaders to follow. However he his lucky that, Leader of change is here to correct and clean every bad legacy trace.

He was never a president.

Some times, I wonder the kind of things you write (or say).

I'm also worried with the state of your heart. In as much as 'good' is relative, objectivity is absolute. You talk (or write) like one who's pained and ruined beyond repair. Like one who has lost all hope and is out to destroy others.

I see you self-imploding. Like a volcano about to erupt. Like the hot magna so charged and painfully, excited that they are about to gush out.

You need to purge yourself from the decay destroying you. You're too young to be a waste.

Our ex president goodluck Jonathan did the work of the intelligent in upgrading the infrastructure of the economy ignoring the minds of the people. In a meantime, Jonathan in power do come as a thing called "luck" as a result of the backings given to him not minding the fact that those politickings also achieved their aim in bringing the economy to downfall in most recent cases

[quote author=odeotito post=34207725]Some say power was nothing meaningful in the hands of ex President Jonathan because he was not in control. Others disagree. How do you see
uhmmm...i would say GEJ performed very well here are my reasons-
~despite the antagonist that worked against his administration, he excelled beyond their expectations, too many sabotage from the ppl he surrounded himself with.
One would say GEJ's government wasted the last 4 yrs...hey i'll look you in the eyes and tell you that's not true and it's not fair,GEJ is the first true democrat Nigeria ever had, despite the critics from all angle s he was focused he's a listening president for instance, jan 2012 when he remove the fuel subsidy alot of ppl cried that the FG should put the subsidy back which he did;and now the same ppl are crying that buhari should remove the fuel subsidy.
The problem of this country Nigeria is a result of the failure of the previous government, our past leaders convoluted the problems, had it been the past govt laid a good foundation Nigeria wouldn't av been where it is today.
Imagine a 54yrs old Nigeria;our politicians would still promise us electricity, good road, development, employment not to talk of security.assuming the past leaders laid a foundation 4 such social amenities then we'd hold Gej accountable but there was no such, nevertheless if administration would deliver on its promises then we'd get there sooner
the bottomline is GEJ did his best but the problem was too complex for him to fix in 4yrs....long live the ex-presid. GEJ, long live The Presid.GMB....long live THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA...#gracias

If gej had been moslem I would have accused him of persecuting christians, especially in the north-east. Or, how does one put the near-total defeat of boko haram in just six weeks of 'his' request for extension of the presidential election? After bh had literally over-run christian-dominated regions as gwoza, chibok, askira-uba,michika,madagali,mubi. Complicity dey smell me. I pray that president buhari would make the breeze 'wey go open fowl nyansh' on particularly this one, blow with great force. God bless nigeria.
